It's incorrectly displaying how much damage it does in the chat log. It's blatantly incorrect, as the numbers are irreconcilable. For example you will see something like this (made up but you get the idea):

Your unarmed combo strike does 350 damage. A narglatch's armor absorbed 126 damage (of 895 damage total).

The numbers don't add up. Again, I made up numbers like that, but this is what you're basically going to see if you turn on the full chat logs and look at the combat spam. The correct numbers are reported second (absorbed/total), but the amount done (the first number) is always wrong. Since ONLY that number is reported if you have the chat logs set to brief, it looks like you are doing only 350 damage when in fact you are doing 895-126 = 769.

Again, made up numbers but, you get the idea.

Do this experiment:

Find a gurrcat on Corellia, or something similar in level (8th level or so). Those have about 1,000 HAM. Target it, walk up to it, and do a SINGLE, just one, advanced combo. You will see its HAM go from 1,000 to nearly zero. Hover the mouse over the target's health bar and you will see how much is left. THAT is how much actual damage you did (it's around 850 or so against a level 8 if you are just a TKA with no swordsman or anything). Now compare what it says in the combat spam, and you'll see what I am talking about.

yeah. If I was fighing CL8 mobs all day that would be useful.

Not the point.

I told you to fight a CL 8 mob so you could ignore its attacks and mouse over its Health bar to track damage. If you do so, you will see the amount subtracted from its Health bar is WAY higher than what it says in your combat spam.

This is not about the level of the enemy, but about whether the combat spam is accurately reporting the damage you do, and if you do my experiment you will see that it is not.

OH! You want to talk about THE POINT.

Here's "THE POINT" (aka "the bug"): Advanced Combo damage does not properly reflect in the combat log. It wasn't fixed. See original post.

I have 3 tkm's. I know how to figure out how much damage AC is actually doing. That's --not the point--

You're right, it is bugged. I told the poster above me how to figure out how much damage he was doing by using something easy like gurrcats. You're the one who started arguing about it.
