Well i've never used max dmg VK's i use custom made 100% experimented HAM vks
i average about 1700dps with UH3 using thse and with my stat layout it only costs me about 108 HAM
so i can actualy chain it for abit
Combined with decent healing skills and muon gold you can keep it up for a long while using this i can easily solo an arachne webmaster
I've done a Ancient Bull Rancor using these
All i use the VK's for area little extra dmg and the very usefull "Light armor piercing value"
DMG with out VKS is about 1298 a hit on unarmed hit3
Stats: health 1000, strength 650, constitution 450, action 1000, quickness 550, stamina 400, Mind 1000, focus 650, willpower 400
PVP i get action/health bufs from master doc and i use muon gold for mind also get some decent chef foods for stat bufs and you can get drain with 100% experimented VK's down to about 80
100% dmg vks and UH3 costs me 171 so you can see the difference is quite measurable only sad part is the reduced range i get from VKS
