How are you guys peeling off BAF mobs from groups?
If the mobs are aggro, I usually creep in until something runs for me, then take it out of range of the other mobs to fight it. I can usually keep it to one or two mobs at a time out of a group.
The reason this works is because mobs will call for help if you attack them, but not if they attack you first.
However, I have no idea how to peel off a few mobs from a group if they aren't aggro, or if they're bunched together tightly.
Any tips or tricks?

I have tried taunt with some success. Just target 1 and hit taunt. The others around them 1 or 2 - not the one you taunt - will come a runnin......
This works most of the time for me - i just stay pretty far away because several might come at once and then i just run away run away run away - hehe

Hmm, good idea. I'll give it a try.
I would think that taunt would act just like hitting a mob, tho.
Thanks!
Any other ideas?

I usually hunt creatures in wandering herds... I stay away for lairs as the creartures do not wander far from the lair or each other on a regular basis. The wandering herds tend to disperse enough to get one isolated. I also cheat, I use my ranger trapping skills to bring the creature to me and further away from the herd.

Nice, what ranger skill is that?
The only similar thing I've been able to do is to use an adhesive mesh on a mob and pull the others away.
As you say, if the mobs are not near a lair, they'll stop after you lose them and you can go back for the stuck one.
I don't do this very often as I find it uses up my burstrun and I rarely find travelling herds where I hunt.
