Ok this is a delema I've had for a long time. Do I use knuckles that got the HAM drain experimented as low as it could go or use the ones with the dammage experimented as high as possible.

With the first I can do more specials and take less of a hit with the other I can do good dammage with berserk, but I got to hope I kill it. Trying to blind, dizzy and stuff before hand is not an option with those high HAM knuckles.

Any ideas on the best corse of action?

All right, but apart from the sanitation droids, bionic limbs, hyper-drive, moisture vaporators, galactic order, abolisment of slavery, star charts, the compact and efficient central government and interplanetary free trade, what has the Empire ever done?"

shhhh, don't scare the coyote

If you're doing specials for status changes only, don't use VK at all. You're not looking for damage from them. If you're trying to PvP with VKs to pierce armor and kill faster, there are various foods that will kill your HAM drain, as well as doctor buffs. In PvE, if you need the pierce armor(arachne and mantrigue screechers come to mind), you're doing yourself a favor slapping on your helmet and VK and just doing normal attacks.

Alternatively you could use looted knucklers. They aren't the most awesome for damage or speed, but they are better than being completely unarmed and their HAM costs are negligable.

If you can find a pair give them a try and see if maybe they are a good middle-ground for your needs.
