My Unarmed Damage mod is +345, and I have innate armor (big whoop), yet I find that my most advanced combo attack never breaches the 300 DMG mark. Do I just need to find a better weapon (Necrosis, Katarn, etc...)? Has Teras Kasi always been like this? I remember them being the most formidable opponents to both man and beast back in the day.

yes a katarn is advised

yes the combo hit does more damage than spammed. It seems to be around three times what you see. Check how much the health goes down on the opponent. Compares decently to some sword's hits, but the sac seems a bit high compared to head hit.
