Thread: PVE question for TKM

For those of you who PVE can you take down Kryats and NE. I am currently grinding out TKM and MS and Doc4xxx. I want to know if this is the root to go or is there a more viabale template.

tera kazi is good for pve , its good , or you can get the buff line of doctors and get 0444 swords but you will lose some melee defense and accuracy

Most of the solo TKM/MS guys I've seen are using PH.

ya because PH can actually outdamage a katarn. and the comment about outdamaging any ph in game, doubt it. tell me the stats on your katarn, ill tell you the stats of a better PH

an equal ph (with an equally low SAC) will cost you a lot

about to say, PH really hurts in duels, far more then my katarn ever does

The thing is, the KKs do less damage per shot, but your moves recharge much faster with KKs and you use less action, so you can use Crit Hit or Power Attack or Combo a lot more often. My rule of thumb with the PH is... use one good special, then basic hit, then one good special, then basic hit... i.e., I have to alternate them (along with throwing in a KD and an armor break when the time is right). I still run out of action, even with brandy. My KKs, I often forget to drink brandy, I use like 3 good specials to every 1 basic hit, and I will still last longer in terms of action than with the PH.
So yeah, a PH's crit does way more damage than a single KK crit. But if I have to keep dropping down to basic strike because I am out of action with the PH, and with the KK I can keep doing crits and power attacks, I end up killing things faster with the KK.
