Alright guys I'm a smuggler and ive recently been slicing VK's for sell. Currently I have about 8 with stats of 184 MaxDamage, 2.1 Speed or better, ranging up to 199 damage, 2.1 speed. In your expert opinions are these good weapons? Would you pay more than 50,000 credits for one? Thanks for your feeback!

Not sure I would. 50k I don't think is unncessarily outrageous, those are fine pieces. But the reliance of TK's on they're vk's is somewhat limited.

Basically if you were around and I was feeling frisky I might buy it. Otherwise, I'd just as soon go loot some nym vibro motors and enjoy "content" to end up with the same or better.

Thanks for the quick feedback bud, keep in mind I play on bloodfin, Ive seen 217 max damage Vk's go for over a million

Yep I have seen some with around 230-240 go for 2 mil plus. They were Vibro motored and im sure many other things with a 35% slice I bet.

i always have my knucklers made and then sliced around 240 to 250 max damage. I only pay 10k for them and i bring the guy the motors. So if your paying 2 mil im sorry but that is way to much for somethign that is going to decay in a few days if you use them all the time.

Standard VK's alone only cost around 4k-10k depending on the server, a good damage slice should not raise the price to 50k. Now if the VK was crafted with a decent Nym Vibro Motor and got a good damage slice then I would consider it because Nym motors can be difficult to obtain.

all my motors are nym motors and they are ussaly +30 motors but i have had some nucklers made at around 200 max damage with +20 motors

What they are worth to a person with a brain and what they'd go for are two entirely different things. Any pair of VK's on ahazi with over 200 damage will go for a million or more, but why? Buy a crate of normal ones and slice em all, you're get a few in the 180's (depending on base on your server). Because of the horrible HAM I only really use mine while tanking & not using specials. (Or buffed and on brandy)

I guess I don't understand the infatuation with overcharging/overpaying for VK's with max damage of 190+. I have 6 with the following stats: 2.2 spd 55-196 dmg +19 at all ranges 40% wound. Now, give or take 2 or 3 on max dmg between them. But I only payed 7500 for the VK's and about 3200 per slice. Meaning that these only cost me about 11k per weapon. Yet I see and hear people selling/buying similar VK's for 50 to 100k! I've been TKM for about 8 months now, so I know what I'm talking about. Just shop around, find VK's with stats that you like, buy a crate of 'em and go to a busy starport and have a Master Smuggler slice them all for you. All the VK's that end up sliced for speed... sell them to non-Master TK's becuase the speed is more important to them than the damage.

woah, i bought mine for 3k and it has:

1.8 spd.

70-178 dmg

I think thats pretty decent for the price

I got a 69-189 VK that I paid 2750 for. 50k for a vk? No thanks

57-227 2.1 great ham costs. (my old VK cost me -403 for Lunge2, now it costs me -72)

i got a VK that does about 170 max, and its speed is really fast... 1.6 i believe. I got it for really cheap though.
