As you will see by my profile, I am already highly skilled in other professions. The only thing missing is Novice TK and my character template will be done. And before anyone tells me all the things wrong with my template (you know who you are), I am doing what I like these days. And I am plenty happy with what I am able to solo these days. That said, I am going up three blocks on the TKA EP line, which I already have enough EP to do as soon as I get Novice banged out. Knowing that I have good defense mods, always have uber med buffs and food buffs, good composite; what would you suggest as a "fast track" method to bang out Novice?

Thanks for any help!

With kind regards,

Jinook Phi

I couldn’t afford armor or buffs when I was a novice , so I got some Sunburn and Muon, when to Dant and pulled just quenker missions. They pay pretty good (about 5k) and get good XP. Do a few of these and you will be able to buy buffs and armor to go after the big stuff.

A.) Find some enhancements, as good as you can get ahold of.

B.) Get yourself a Vibroknuckler roughly 2.0 speed, 30-150ish damage.

C.) Get some Brandy, and use it. Get some Muon for emergencies.

D.) Get that VK sliced, get a friend to group with you to improve mission difficulty, go to Dantooine, get missions, put on that VK, as good armor as you can get, and go to town on Pikets, Huurtons, Bols.

If you decide to go for full blown TKM here's a good process:Go for 2-2-2-x first off, then take Techniques (3rd tree) to 4, Meditation to 4, and then the second tree to 4.

This is roughly how I did mine, and helped my friend with his, only I did it pre-CH nerf and was a CH, so didn't need the doc buffs. If you do this you can afford to keep the vibroknuckler on 99.9% of the time and not kill yourself. And if you're having troublestaking mobs using unarmed, take the mobs out withwhatever you're most proficient in, and use vks and berserk on the lairs for a cool 5kish XP a pop.If you're still 3 in the Dirty Fighting line of Smuggler you can keep Feign Death ready incase you get into trouble too. Go to town and have fun!

That's what I did... it flew in comparison with getting Unarmed 4 where I hunted with groups.
