Wow, what a difference! I mastered TKM and decided to fight without VK's. Man what a difference. My VK'S were speed sliced to 1.9. After I mastered, I stopped using the VK's and now I strike even faster without the HAM costs. Was it just that my vk's werent' fast enough or is that MASTER TKA (dam, that sounds good, hehe) strikes that fast. Tell me what you guys think.

I often fight PvE without my knucklers, however againts heavier opponents that I want to dispatch faster (for fear of getting killed myself) I use my Vks. I would never enter a PvP fight without my knucklers. Sure you dont have the ham costs with just bare fists, but hey, most people fight buffed nowadays, and I am a master doc so I dont worry about ham costs heh. Bare fists is still nice though if I am running Piket or Baz Nitch missions for cash...it saves on the wear and tear of my knucks.

My vk's have been gathering dust for the last month since i mastered tka i've only just started using em when i need some steady pounding of about 500 damage per second. and thats when ive knocked whatever im fighting to the floor.

anyway congrats and welcome to the top of your proffesion well done

Bounty Hunter (most fun prof in this game and i'll probably go back to it! )

congrats. but uh...since the speed is over 100, it DOES NOT matter how slow your knucklers are. I.e the speed cap is infact 100, and anything else above it is equal. So it really doesn't matter how fast or slow yer vk's are. I was only a TKN with 1.6 vks...I was doing 450 damage every SECOND. im now 0/1/2/2 TKA and im doing well over 500 damage each second...

Did I mention those two damages I recorded without KD? hehe.

At TKM, the best thing about VK's is the AP1. What I did was had a crate of VK's specially made for me that had the absolute lowest HAM cost possible. I had them all sliced and kept the best ones. I only use them against critters with armor, or when I'm up against something really tough and can use the little extra punch they give. The low HAM cost helps out a LOT.

Other than that, I prefer to use my bare hands. There's just something about utterly destroying things bare-handed that appeals to me.
