Thread: Blaster fist or no Blaster fist

Why do I do more damage and have higher SAC costs and lower speed when I REMOVE my blasterfist. My unmodified DPS is around 200 on my BF.
Im trando with + unarmed dam. clothes, (but I ask because someone saidtheunarmed damage clothingdont work)
Wouldnt it seem more likely that I would do more damage but it would be tougher to swing if I had some big metal chunk on my hand/claw than without?

untill you get your claws on some Knucklers of Katarn dont use a weapon 
cant give you a logical explanation of why all the craftet TK weapons stink so bad, but they do.
when your are using a weapon [remeber only use knucklers of the katarn] unarmed damage mods do not work, but when you are fighting unarmed the unarmed damage mods do infact work and are quite nice

The blaster fist is good for folks that aren't TK's.. by the time you are able to use the blaster fist from the TK line, your dmg mobs, and speed, etc, unarmed (NO WEAPON) than the blaster fists.
Heck, your dmg / speed / acuracy is almost as good with no wepon as the Katarn Knuckles.. If it wasn't for the elemental modifier from them, no weapon would be as good, just a higher SAC cost.

yes fighting unarmed looks soo much cooler imo than fighting with knucklers.. but the sac kills ya

I agree with the SAC problem. One would think if we are mainly an unarmed profession why should it cost us more to fight unarmed than with knucklers...

Costs ya plenty when the 800 condition wipes of your katarns in a few days and youve only played for a shade over 6months therfore no ADK

grrrr its frustrating.
I know TK is not designed to be a damage dealing class but you'd think with TK 4 4 4 2, you would do more damage than master brawlerwielding a Rykk Blade.
Oh well, thx for the updates peeps.

Just curious, I am in the same boat....haven't played for a while, and I just used a respec to drop Master Fencer, and pick up TKM to go with Master Brawler, and Master Swordsman. I was playing a bit last night, fighting unarmed. It seemed like the SAC was massive. So before reading this :-( I found an enhanced blaster fist with a SAC of either 69 or 65, when I equipped it my speed is 1.21, and DPS is somewhere like 368 (if I remember right.) How does this sound compared to unarmed damage? I was looking at my screens last night, and I could find where to look to see how much damage I would do just using feet and hands. Thanks all.

not a bad blaster fist at all.. when fighting unarmed as TKM your Dps is around 300-400 i think
