I have a pair of padded armor boots that have nice cm and gen melee on them. bu because boots are no longer armor will this affect my inate armor

Boots are armor they just don't have stats on them. So you will loose your innate armor if you use them.

ok did a test. my buddy hit me with the same hit a bunch when i was wearing the boots. the hits where 483 every one. then took the boots off and the hits were still 483. Every hit so guess boots do not cancle the innate armor. Now time too try the mabari belt for my self. I will post the results when i do it tonight.

Sorry, I can't remember where I read this, but I think the mabari belts are bugged allowing you to wear them without cancelling inate armor. Use em while you can, it's on the list of things to get fixed.

There is also a issue where you sometimes have to travel or logout to get your innate armor to work once you had armor on.

how do psg's fit into this? Are they considered armor or no?

Just a guess but I am wondering if your innate armor was still turned off when you removed the boots.It is aknown bug and has happened to me before.Try the test again after you have restarted which will hopefully reset your innate. But this time have your friend hit you BEFORE putting on the boots. Now put the boots on and see if there is any difference.Either way this is just a bug so I would not rely on any armor that has skill tapes in it nor would I buy any.

No psg's are not considered armor last I checked and I wear one every day.
