Hi there I'm back after 8months of not playing and I just have a few ?'s if anyone is willing to answer them for me. First off I'd like to say I do like the CU pls dont hate me for saying so, but what I'm wondering is what is a TKM's best attack, what is being done now to enhance stats(is it still doctor buffs or food?) and why do I do so little damage with or without vk's. Also if anyone minds what is the going price on one of those kuncklers I keep hearing about from kashyyk. Again any help is appreciated thanks.

- What is a TK's best Attack? For a pure TK, theadvanced melee combo is the most damaging attack, with the highest cost in action points, according to the boards. It's apparently bugged so the screen text seems to indicate it does very little damage, but if you watch the opponent health bar, it does more damage than the text indicates. My favorite non-damaging attack is Armor Break, as it helps your other attacks do more damage. However, more board members tend to combine TK with another melee profession to pick up the more damaging specials like HeadHit, as the special abilities will apply to all melee abilities, including unarmed. My favorite special from TK is Center of Being, which is now essential to keep up for damage reduction in any significant fight.
- What is being done to enhance stats? Doctor buffs are still around in a greatly-reduced version ( inprove some stats by 10% ), so foods and spice are now primary forms of buffs. In addition, entertainers now provide a 10% experience buff that can be helpful.
- Why do I do so little damage with or without VKs? Unarmed currently does more damage than most knuckles, as the unarmed damage bonus does not apply to weapons equipped ( including VKs ). TKAs do much less damage now because their primary role is as a tank ( damage-absorber ), and damage-dealing abilities are substially less than they were pre-CU. You can get good damage output from TK by combining with Swordsman or other melee profession, but on its own it's just not going to deal a lot of damage.
- What's the going price on one of those knucklers I keep hearing about from Kashyyk? No idea. Haven't seen any for sale. Since I believe that both knucklers are quest rewards, I'm guessing they're not going to be particularly cheap.
