I'm sure this has been asked before but how is TK armor calculated by TK armor points to % of damage reduced?

i think the exact calculations can be found in the armorsmith forums. i saw a graph there sometime ago.
the max armour value of 10000 (couldnt be crafted thou) reduces about 60% of damage. anything above wouldnt increase the damage-reduction noteworthy.
TKM armour is 6000 and reduces of damage by 48% .

1000 = 10.5%
2000 = 20.0%
3000 = 28.5%
4000 = 36.0%
5000 = 42.5%
6000 = 48.0% <------Innate Armor for a TKM
7000 = 52.5%
8000 = 56.0%
9000 = 58.5%
2000 = 20.0%
3000 = 28.5%

My guess is that Armor = TIA x 100.
So if you have +20 TIA at Novice that's equivalent to 2000 armor. Then +60 at master for 6000.
My evidence is that with +60 TIA people are reporting the same protection as 6000 armor and me, with only +20 TIA, I get 19-20% damage reduction which is what you'd expect for 2000 armor.
Of course, that's just a guess.
