I have yet to have problems with TKM / Master Sword / Doc 4xxx. With Swordsman you get damage specials to help boost your unarmed damage, as well as the all important "Area Taunt" which is on a faster timer than taunt, and I also believe is affected by the TKM "Taunt Bonus".

Not only am I able to soak huge amounts of damage, but I'm able to get and keep agro reliably even with multiple enemies, assist in heals by slapping Bacta Infuse on myself, and deliver a semi-decent amount of damage. The main problem with this template right now is damage. Swordsman specials rock, there's no doubt about that. But frankly swordsman weapons are a joke compared to other profs. To be honest, I find myself almost constantly using my ADK'd Knuckles of the Katarn with an SAC pup on it. Cuts it down to like 57 SAC, so my action pool lasts about forever with Blob Candy.

I'm the Energizer Bunny in full riot gear man!! I keep going, and going, and going, and going....

Question, for tanking, how would this template do:

TKM, Master Doc, Swordsman x13x?

or perhaps:

TKM, Master Pikes, Doc 4xxx?

Im just playing around with various ideas for my next character(I tend to reroll fairly often). Even this one maybe:

TKM, Doc 4xxx, Scout 4xxx, Pikeman 44xx?

"TKM, Doc 4xxx, Scout 4xxx, Pikeman 44xx? "

Problem with that template is that it won't leave you at CL80. I have heard one or two people claim that level 65 or so is plenty with the right template, but I have strong doubts of that myself -- especially for a main tank.

I'm sure you can tank fine with Master Pike / TKM / Doc 4000. The main reason I prefer Master Swords instead is the area taunt really. Makes agro management so much easier.

As far as scout goes... forget it. Just get BE clothes with terrain negotiation on them.

I am loving the tkm/master pike/doc 4000 template and I have tried everything. Give it a try at least..swordsman is tons of fun too..can't go wrong with any other melee profession plus doc 4000.

Wear TN clothes or buy TN aa/cas. Don't waste skillpoints on getting terrain negotation, you wont be happy in the end.
