Personally, I keep my Medic skills around to heal myself with anything else being gravy. If it was a choice between the two, I'd take improved heals over a ten percent health buff any day. At the very least, and I know for a fact that this is true on Bria since I play on that server, you can hang out close to a busy city or a choice player city and get buffed regularly. Theed has a couple MDocs that are regularly there and buffing and that way you can get all the other Doc buffs too. When I have to heal, it's usually because my ass is on the line and at that point, a stronger heal is worth much more to me then ten percent more health.

So the only benefit to 4xxx is the nutrient injection buff?
Ive already made the choice of xx4x on the last respec.....and it seems to work just fine.
OR..would it have been wiser to bypass medic and use the remaining skillpoints in Fencer or Swordsman.
My current template is as follows:
Master Brawler
Master Pikeman
Master TK
Novice Swords
Fencer x1xx
Medic xx4x

Medic xx4x is much better than 4xxx, simply because of the heals. If you can fit Doc 4xxxx in there as well, then u'll b uber. Bacta infusion is amazing, this ticking heal can keep up with the damage most MOBs send at you - which isn't much if you're a TKM.

If you can, get a 110 rated med droid and have him follow you around during combat, they really bump up the amount you heal for, especially for non-master docs.
