Thread: Another Newbie Question ~ XPing grinding suggestions
If you really want to grind:
A suggestion: group up. Head to Dantooine Mining Outpost( if you can afford the trip ), and join a level 80 group. ( Yes, I'm aware you're only level 14 ). In combat, run in and try to land a blow on something the other party members have already engaged.
You do so little damage that it's unlikely you'll ever draw hate (aggro) from your fellow party members, so your low health is of little consequence. Each kill that you've managed to land a single blow on will draw you 5-6K EXP, making levels fly by fairly quickly ( it's best if you're in the group with another TK or brawler profession, so they can provide training as you go ). In addition, mission payouts of ~8K will help your bank account get running well.
Sound crazy? When I was a TKM/MD, I routinely would pick up a low-level newbie and the two of us would hunt some L80 critters. I'd engage and destroy the critters one at a time, and the newbie would plink away at the critter for the same amount of XP. With a good sized group, this goes quite a bit quicker ( thus the Dant suggestion ).
