Thread: Would TKM work with Master Bounty Hunter?

I thought I would take the opportunity of the respec and drop Master Swords and take up Bounty Hunting. Every BH that I talked to seem to think BH would be more effective with another range prof to compliment it. I love TKM's meditation, COB and innate armor. I dont want to give it up, but I do want to be effective against jedi, when I decide to start hunting them. So do you guys think TKM would be effective against the jedi?

There's been a few threads on that, mostly last week or week before I think, and I want to say that just about everytime the answer was no, getting in range of a jedi is typically a very bad idea, there are a few templates where people have been successful at fighting jedi in melee, one involved a combination of smuggler/tkm and another tkm/pikeman but I can't remember exactly what they where.

the only temps that can stand toe to toe with a jedi and hold there own are the following
tkm/mpike/4xxx doc
tkm/msword/4xxx doc
tkm/msmuggler
those are the only tkm professions that can last against a jedi and either win or hold off for backup

Which going by the character builder I've got indicates it's impossible to have any of those templates and even just the first box of BH Investigation.
