ok I come back after a long break and can respec...I was TKM/M Fencer/some Pistoleerbefore CU and came back to -27/250 skill points and could not move untilI respecced...I have several ideas for my new template, and have read that they are all possible, butI can't even come close to having enough points for them...any ideas why?


Iwant to be one of these four:



1. TKM/MFencer/Doc 4000


2. TKM/MFencer/MSwords


3. TKM /MFencer/Swords 0034/Pikes 0040


4. TKM/MFencer/MBrawler/Swords0034/Scout 0000



Ihave read and heard from many people that they have these templates post CU...so what's the deal...why can't I?

Probably because on the respec screen just 1 elite profession mastery requires 171 Elite skill points except for Ranger which requires 189. It has something to do with the conversion rates for the different types of points, can't remember exactly though hopefully someone else will be able to provide you a better explanation on that.

if you were all melee no marksman pre-CU youl would be able to

so are these templates something i can attain thru normal xp from lvling? it doesnt seem so because i run out of the old 250 points and the new elite points as well...very annoying...i think i'll file a csr ticket unless someone else has a suggestion

Each one of those templates gives you just 4 skill points leftover so they are doable so don't expect much help from a CSR, though that's on pretty much any issue hehe. To be honest I've no idea why it would've worked if you'd just had brawler based professions instead of some marksman based ones as well but more than likely you'll just have to grind some of the exp you need to achieve one of those templates.

go to respec screen then clear all, choose template then fill it up as much as possible, then grind out the rest. you should be able to do the template as long as you have 4 or less FS boxes
