Ok i spent almost 6 hours on Lok last night looking for a vibro motor. I know your supposed to pull them off the Nym Brawlers but i got jack... I went through about about 20 Nym missions and ran into about 13 brawlers. Only thing i pulled off a nym brawler was a locked container. WHOOPIE!!! I did pull 4 blaster energy enhancers or somehting like that i dont remember the exact name of it. But i pulled 4 of them off a Nym's Destroyer. Is there anything im doing wrong? Any tips on what i should do or look for? Thanks...

Did the same thing last night - we had 8 missions and we did get 1 - i think is was off a guard. I also got 1 locked container which i havnt had opened wet -

Keep trying they are there- its a pain without grouping hehe

So i guess it can come off any Nym then... I was told it only comes off Nym Brawlers. I was still looting every Nym corpse but was paying most attention to the brawlers.

You get a lot of Vibro Motors off Jawas? Seriously? If so, I am going to exterminate every one of them little bastards on Tatooine tonight.

Also, remember that there is some kind of group loot bug. I've tried to loot NPCs before when in a group and found nothing. Disbanded and tried again with the same corpse and got loot.

So if you're hunting for loot, do it ungrouped for now.

regaurding the un group thing. I was soloing the missions with my AT-ST does that count or should i not be in the group with my own AT-ST?

comon guys, my Lord, Jawas won't, and don't drop motors.

I havn't tried the nyms yet, because i had just managed to get my nym back to +5000. Seems to me that people are having a little too much of the old no luck on the nyms.

perhaps they drop from droidikas. maybe nym droidikas /shrug

man im such a retard.....befor the nym nerf i had well over 6 vibro motors and other weappy smith things. BUT....i rememberd the devs say that people will allways make better things than drops from creatures or npc's , and since i had NO weaponsmith knowledge i thought these were soemthing the weaponsmiths already could amke and were already in my knuckler, so i deleted them and some other stuff (which was probably valuable too) once i got them. im SUCH an idiot, but thats what i get for not checking the forums about them. now that the nymsgroup up i dont think ill be doing them soon. but hey i got nothing else to do..so i may try to get a few motors on the weekend . hehe being a commando also i dont think theyll be that hard, althou i think ill need a friend CH to help me tank em

The drop ratio is 1 in 25.

So be prepared to run atleast 3 missions to get one drop.

The nice thing is, the nyms drop multiple parts when they do.

If you do get feeder mech or pistol stuff, they still sell for alot and can be easily traded for a motor.

If anyone on bloodfin wnats to join, send a tell to freon.
