How come it's taking me like 3 or 4 hits to kill a worrt at unarmed 3 ?

I miss quite a bit, and typically 2 hits landed will kill them but sometimes i have to fight and fight it seems. Perhaps the random pool damage. I have tried using vk and without vk all that seems to be different is HAM cost and speed when i used the vk, (damage is exactly the same either way)

I am a zabrak and my hams are approx as follows:

900/900/1000 my mind secondaries are a bit higher but i believe my H.A. secondaries are 400 to 450

Please lemme know if this is simply due to random pool damage( and bad luck) or if i need to be doing something different.

Unlike every othercombat line, unarmed has no moves which can target specific pools until much later in your Teras Kasi training which means at the low level not only do you not have the accuracy or damage, but it might take a few extra goes to hit the right pools.

you will be hitting worts 3-5 times even at unarmed 4. but after you get tk novice you will see a HUGE increase in speed and damage output. im just a tkn 0-0-0-0and i can hit for over 1000 damage with my vks now using unarmed hit 2. normal punches do about 200-500+. Oh and its a good idea to use a vk while grinding through unarmed 3-4. just be careful of the ham cost on them.
