Is wearing armor worth it for a TKA ?

i never wear armor, because It SUCKS! ok honestly i dont wear armor cause im a wookie.

but we should be able to wear somthing other then this crap cloth. /shrug ya wear composite or somthing and dong use styles, you become a tanking God

I just wear Mabari Armor. It looks kinda crappy but serves me well to avoid the worst damage. I like having some regeneration values left. And with my Marbari I still have about 300-500 to my secondary stats.

For the TK profession I wish there was some more stylish looking armor though. Some kind of Karate-Gi or whatever with some medium resist values.

The only armor thats worth the loss in regen vs costis composite, but i know people who wear others... the reduction in damage is just stagering in PVE... in PVP it helps a little but not to much.

u are a fool to wear composite in pve as a master AS/TKA i think i know something about this go find a local master and have him make u some 50ish ercent ubese make then go get it sliced by a master smuggler then make sure he get encumb on the helm, jacket and pants, if not go buy another piece untill this happens then buy some tat sunburn and ryshca eat them before u attack nething ( i assume u have ure mind stats maxed) equip ure mind reducing powerups on ure knucks and spam unarmed hit 3 untill said mob dies, on tougher **edit** u might need intimidate and stun if u pull this off right u will take 15ish damage from baz nitches and be able to spam specials allday. i have a full set of comp armor sliced for encumbrance (54% resist) and let me tell you this is sweet

I wear a ubese/chitin combination suit it offers 50-60% kinetic resists. This coupled with Muon Gold, to up my mind to heal, enables me to solo multiple creatures. Like 3 or 4 greater sludge panthers.

i have heard of composite armour as high as 60% defense......weth a full slice to defense it would be 87%......87!!!!! no one could wear it without a muon gould and a doctor buf but.....87!!!!

I personally wear a 36% resist suit of chitin armor... it works well, I only have 50 in my secondary stats... but its worth it... I like seeing the amount of damage it prevents, quite nice, and so is the price.

all i wear is a composite helmet

I too only wear the helmet, and even then, only in PvP. My currently composite helmet is only 64%, but it keeps me alive for an extra second or two against an eye shot spammer.

Against creatures, I wear no armor. It just isn't worth it. There is nothing I can't kill without armor that I can come anywhere close to killing with armor.
