Right now I am a Novice Ranger and Novice Pistoleer. I as thinking about picking up UA and eventually TKA. I try to plan ahead an I was wondering what everything thinks is the best TK branch to train first, or if I only pick one, what should it be.

Any and all advice, experience, stories, etc would be very helpful in my decision making. Thanks (already) for your help.

I went and got the Knockdown. Then the Dizzy. Then the powerboost. From there, its your choice. I choose to get wound healing first, then the Knockdown2. And finally, the damage/speed lines.

depends...

you want to deal high dmg? train column 3. i think it is called power techniques. 14 points gets you +60dmg, +60spd, and unarmed Combo 2, which hits all three stat pools.

you the ability to heal your own wounds and moderately boost your own stats? train meditation.

defense? look a the trees and see which offers the most def skill mods.

long and short, you will be no match for a TKM(unless you master pistoleer), Master Fencer, or any ranged combat prof.

I did that, but then I found that dizzy's nearly useless. On the other hand, powerboost may be the most useful TKA ability.

I'd recommend, knockdown, then powerboost, then I'm split between the power tree and the meditation tree. After you finish the power tree, you can lose your VK and save the HAM costs for specials. After finishing the meditation tree, you can meditate away wounds.

This is what I have been told to do by some of the greatest players I know (Yyerka and rest of YCS guys).

After novice, get balance conditioning(knockdown), then meditating 2(power boost), then head up the power tech tree
