I have long been of the opinion that mind=unhealable pool and therefore nexu grim is the way to go. However, I see a LOT of experienced pvp'ers using spitting rawl instead.

I cant say i blame them really it's incredibly fast and does insane damage.

I suppose they can each be used for different situations. i.e. nexu grim may not be the best choice for somebody on muon and a dancer buff.

What do you guys use?

Oh ack btw:

Spitting Rawl: /unarmedhit3

Nexu Grim: /unarmedheadhit3

not trying to insult anyone's intelligence--but if you've never read the combat spam--you wouldn't know what these were.

I use Spitting Rawl: /unarmedhit3 for most fights/duels, 2 or 3 of these is enough to lay anyone flat.

Iuse Nexu Grim:/unarmedheadhit3 for fights/duels with buffed people or when I see their mind pool really low. This isalsoespecially good against a fellow TKM in PvP (not so much in a fair duel)so they can notuse FoW once you incap them.

I will even use /unarmedhit2 on occasion, depending on how much damage I need to inflict.

Anyone I am fighting that is unarmored gets a couple splitting rawls. That finishes just about anyone off. Anyone in armor and/or buffed I hit with unarmedknockdown2, blind, stun, then a couple spitting rawls. If the fight is going my way at this point I'll target whatever pool is lowest and target that. This is usually the mind and that's when I use nexu grin.

Use Spitting Rawl, just KD 2 and they are down, if the dizzy doesnt stick or they dont fall reaply it. Now that they are down they will not be able to heal themselves; just watch you pound them to a pulp why they are helpless. I supposue is someone had 3.5k health/action and 800 mind id use /unarmedheadhit1 then.

It's better to target the mind pool in the person you're fighting is healing or if someone else is healing them. Only combat medics can heal mind and they can't do it as well as health and action. I use spitting rawl if my target is unarmored and gorax smash if I knock them down and they're not buffed and/or they're not wearing armor.

Same here. I like to think the precision strikes, besides mind, are useful. I like to make things dynamic by doing 1-2 spitting rawls and (partly to blind them) and whichever pool is lowest, I attack that. ThisMIGHT not be as effective of just straight hitting the mind pool or spamming UH3, but it's certainly a lot more fun to use your whole arsenal and so you don't feel\look like every other FOTM pvp'er.

Just thought of something to do in a fight that would be funny, but pretty annoying too. Set up macros for each of your favorite moves with a shout of the move name. This way you'd be saying the name of the special everytime its used (sort of like in anime). Just think:

"Spitting Rawl!"

"Spitting Rawl!"

"Nexu Griiin!"

OK this is what i have to say.

I was in a duel with a guy with a 1k mind. He was knocked down and dizzy wearing full composite. The KD had hit his mind bar so he was down to around 850 mind. I was also wearing composite. I used nexu grim and i had to use it 15! times before he got incaped. In that time i had competely used up my action bar and had to take my armour off before i could acctually incap him.

Funny, but it'd be annoying as **yesthisismyownedit**

That and combat timing would be off - you would say it far faster than you would do it.

It happens....don't wear armor! =) Especially if they're on the ground. You should set up an armor macro so you can take off the armor quickly when they're flopping like a fish... Novice medic helps with ham usage too (less the mind, thats why you max your mind)... I'm sure you knew that though.
