I dont know why, but this seems like as logical place to place this request as any other.

I'm a master pistoleer, Master Smuggler, soon to be Master Teras Kasi Artist.

Anyway, as my tool bars are set up now, I have a pistol bar, and a melee bar. Often in the heat of battle, in pvp and pve, I often mess up when switching to my melee tollbar from pistols and visa versa. This of course costs valuable seconds which could easily mean the difference between winnig, and dying.So, I ask,

A) Is it possible to have a macro which say I could place in both tool bars, which would allow me to select a weapon, and then have it immedietly change to the corosponding tool bar? Example, I'm using my pistol, and get into perfect knuckler range, is it possible to make a macro for me to hit my knuckler slot, have that nuckler equip, and at the same time tis equipping have the toll bars change to the one holding my melee specials?

and...

B) If its possible to infact do that macro, does anyone know where I might be able to pick that up?

Thanks in advance, also I wuld like to add, coming from pistols, its amazing how much better TKA is as a profession. This isnta nerf call or anything, I'm merely saying I did BH before I went pistoleer, and that was before the investigation fix, and its just utterly amazing how much more fun this game can be going form an utterly broken profession to a working one.

/ui action toolbarSlotxx;
/ui action toolbarPanexx

Example: You have pistol toolbar in the toolbar named "1" and VK in slot Shift F1
You would make the macro
/ui action toolbarSlot12;
/ui action toolbarPane01

I think thats how the Pane's work, the Pane that reads "1" is Pane00, and goes up from there, and the Slot F1 is toolbarSlot00, and they go up from there.

Correct me if I am wrong on the Pane information, I havent looked at my macro for armor equip for a long time.

Im not sure about hitting the VK's themselves in the quickbar but You can make a macro that goes to the new pane equips the vk's then hit a combat special .. would look something like this ...

/ui action toolbarPaneXX; /ui action toolbarSlotXX; /ui action toolbarPaneXX

the XX's of course would be the Qbar Numbers and Slot the ones with the VK in em.. I have never tested a macro like that tho I have had macros that switch to a pane then equip a weapon but my Specials are on the same Pane never had it go to the Pane equip then go to another pane. Just play around with it and I am sure you can come up with something. You can find Macro Guides on swg allakhazam
