actually, I think master brawler prof is usefull for fencers, who have no KD, so we get a KD and wacry2 as "bonus" (I don't think intim is a good thing for fencers cause it makes us stop dodging)

but tka already have a KD/dizzy, so I'm not sure it worth it.

Master Brawler will help youa lot more then feign death. Feign death is good if you have a bleed to lay on the creature/NPC. MB gains you war2, which means you'll only get attacked 10 seconds out of every 30. And you get intimidate2 which lasts a long long time.

KD/Dizzy is near useless against high level NPCs. They resist states like crazy. It'll take 10 plus hits sometimes to stick a KD nevermind a dizzy.

Ok, so would you use warcry 1 and 2 against a nightsister elder with 300k ham?

I do a lot of PvE and template includes Feign Death and I wouldn't leave home without it.

It is most useful when Iam trying to take 1-3 dark troopers but I accidentally agro a whole room full of 8 or 10 or so - more often than one would hope.

I do my best, but when I see the inevitable, I run as far away as I can from the origin of the battle and then do an FD. The npc's will taunt and guesture, then they will all RETURN whence they came.

You can then heal, or sometimes get away if that is your plan. Either way I think FD is a great skill for PvE.

Not only would I use that, but I'd lunge her and then run like hell

I'm a smuggler/TKA too and also spend a lot of time beating up Nightsisters...

Feign death is only really useful when there are pets around or indeed if you are grouped as once you stand up from the FD you will get aggroed again. Don't get me wrong it's not useless, but it could be viewed as somewhat of a liability and should only be used as a last resort in my opinion.

I only have Warcry 1 and find that its plenty enough to give me an escape opportunity. I think that my +15 warcry undershirt gives me a nice edge here as the warcry sticks 90% of the time.

Regarding solo-ing a NS elder, well good luck, theyre 100% kinetic resistant and the only times i've seen them killed is when a bunch of commando's burn her to death. This is on mob you dont want to go toe to toe with.

I love having Master Brawler. Im a Master TK/ Master Brawler/ Fencer(3-4-3-4)/ Swordman(0-3-0-3) and I go into the NS Stronghold and OWN all of them..sometimes all at once

I've had the smugglers feign death and like a prior post stated, its good if you have a bleeder to land on them. I find that boring so I just stick WC1+2 on them and unload with TK.

Had some fun there last night...

I was LMAO when they tried to use the force KD and only knocked out a fellow sister...lol

One question though: Do you have master brawler or not? Because there is another bonus to those skills there right? My greatest concern with warcry and intimidate have been that they work so rarely, which is very bad considering their large HAM cost. IsBOTH master brawler AND skills enhancement clothing needed to get that 90 % rate you were talking about?

I like to solo some of the toughest npc's in the game.

Feign death isn't a part of my gameplan but it does save my life a lot. However, I have seen small displays of what warcry 2 can do against force crystal hunters for example. I can take them without war2 or feign but it opens the door to bigger game. I can and have soloed a nightsister protector if I am buffed, armored and lucky. Let's face it, a couple of unlucky shots through the helmet and a few nasty force powers and I'm done.

I know that warcry 1 with warcry 2 would change the rules significantly, but how far can I take this.

I'd love to hear some people's honest experiences on this combo when used on npc's.

Thanks in advance.

You can get up to a +25 bonus from bio clothes and master brawler increases your chance too. With novice brawler you get warcry 1 which delays your opponent for 10 seconds. At master brawler you get warcry 2 which lasts 2 seconds. Both have a 30 second delay.

In theory you could use war1, hit em a couple of times, hit war 2 wail on em for 20 seconds and hypotheticly keep them in a constant state of unable to attack. Against graul maulers, it will work like a charm. But it doesn't take 10 seconds to kill one, so why bother with war 2. Against a high level nightsister, it will fail a lot more often but will hit. I nail it 50% of the time with war 1 and I am not a master brawler. This is with my +25 warcry clothes.

So going back to my NS elder theory, I estimate, in theory, I could take her with the expectation of taking probably 20-30 hits. Since I do have novice medic, it will be safe for me to pause to heal myself if necessary.

No one is saying anything. And that leads me to believe that they either can solo anything with the 1-2 combo and are afraid of getting nerfed or just simply can't and dont want to publicize it in fear of someone else stepping in and saying they can.
