Just curious if there's a way we can propse adding some Combat Text into the Combat Log so we can verify if our Innate Armor is working? I guess something similar could also be used for the Jedi Innate Armor as well. Or am I simply not seeing it in my combat log because it's not working for some reason? I'm not even positively sure if a Combat Text exists or not for our Innate Armor.
Combat Log
PlayerXhits youfor 200 damage
Your innate armor absorbs 100 damage
You hit PlayerX for 335 damage
PlayerX misses
You hit PlayerX for 325 damage
PlayerX hits you for 200 damage
Your innate armor absorbs 100 damage
In other words PlayerX swung at you for 300 dmg, but 100 of it was absorbed through Innate!
I'm a TKM/MBH/Commando4000........I've tried fighting Jedi today/tonight using just clothes, using clothes and a 4 socket bando, using clothes and a ubese shirt, and have tried fighting with clothes, the ubese shirt, and the bando all on at once. Each and everytime I have CoB running, but yet I don't see a difference nor do I see if it's doing any good. My other question is has anyone come out with solid, tested proof yet if the socketed bandos or the ubese shirts effect our glorious innate armor?

A few thigns mods on the clothes matter a bit. What weapon did u use and cob makes ppl miss more and do less damage i have tested this just recently i can repost my tests unfortuatly i cant test the melee/ranged defense since i really dont knwo what those mods are supposed to do anymore since i tested my results are on this forum but that it didnt lower the damage i think it might lower the amount of hits that are thrown at him.We need more info if we are gonna help u.

If you look through your options, in either Combat or Chat there is a section to make your combat spam more detailed, including how much damage was absorbed by armour.

The Melee & Ranged Defense bonus (as well as all other mods) from clothing is capped at +25, so you could exchanged some of the things you're wearing with other types of clothing. Another Unarmed Damage / Terrain Negotiation instead of one of those Melee/Ranged Defense pieces would probably be a wise choice (for the TN part at least, because the Unarmed Damage part doesn't work atm).
However as has been tested by several people on this forum, Melee & Ranged Defense clothing doesn't work at all atm. At least it makes no difference in the damage you receive. Maybe they'll fix it someday, but for now they're useless.
