Thread: I need some help with TKM. What profession has a good DOT?

I am working on getting MTK and I am getting pretty close right now. Iwant to add a bleedshot or some form of DOT to my TKM. So what profession can do this? I want to use as few skill points as possible but yet have it be effective DOT. Any suggestions?

you could go up either the pistol/carbine/rifle tree since you already have novice brawler. They all receive their respective bleed shot at the 4th tier. It's up to you which you would like to get. They all would require the same amount of Skill Points. The pistol tier tends to be the most popular for whatever reason, I would assume because health ham is the more commonly hit random pool. Rifle is nice because it's a mind bleed, for obvious reasons. Up to you though.

In most cases the TKA can kill so fast that a DoT isn't of nearly as much value as it is to say a fencer or combat medic. I think you might get a bigger benefit fromthe other professions you might pick -from being able to do other than kinetic damage against things with super kinetic resists. Just saying... that will be a benefit to you also.

im a TKM 3000doc 4004cm and what i do is in pvp i will kill someone and poison anyone else thats attacking me and i cant get to them atm then when im done with the first guy the guy i poisoned/diseased is down 1kwound dmg and 1mind

go for pikeman, and hunt nightsisters to find a nice mind poison or mind fire vibro lance....or you can usually find quite a few being sold on the trade forums, and since you already have brawler you won't have to invest too many more skill points. You can get a DOT gaf too if you take up fencer, but i'm pretty sure the DOT vibrolances are a little more common.
