I know the dodge does not work with unarmedfrom the Pistoleer tree, but what if you equip a VK, I have heard some say yes, and some say no.. Can any one let me know for sure

Im a TKM and working on pistoleer, if the dodge works, I'll go up in that tree, if not my points would go into the accuracy tree, Seing as I cant master Pistoleer.

Thanks for any help.

It appears to for me. its not just 'dodge when holding pistol' so it should work at any time.

I don't think this is true. Dodge only works with Pistols and 1-H weapons (Fencer-type). I dodge quite a bit when I have my pistol equipped, but haven't seen a dodge yet with or without VKs equipped.

Now, I have seen Counterattacks fighting with/without VKs, which is very strange since I don't have that skill from any other profession. I think that may be a result of Defense Acuity, but I don't know.

Dodge does not work with VK's..... however.....

It seems that Defense Acuity seems to increase the likleyhood of dodge/counterattack/block.

It's entirely possible to either dodge/counterattack/block while using VK's. We believe that's what Defense Acuity causes. However the "dodge" mods you get from pistols and fencer will not work with VK's period, nor will they in anyway stack with defense acuity.

With a pistol equipeed, there are both misses and dodges. An occasional counter attack I believe. I do not ever remember dodging when I have VKs equipped.

The mods will not stack, but there is always a random "roll" to dodge, block or counter attack for everyone.
