I'm a master doctor. I do not, nor do I plan, to PvP. I came back to the game after 6 months, and started working up TKA. The grind up Unarmed was going okay, then I grouped with my girlfriend, a doctor/pistoleer. She's only got Novice at the moment, but grouping with her was horrible as she would just vaporize everything after I hit it once for maybe 200 on a good day. So I actually gave in to impulse I went up Pistols a bit. In fact in a few hours I was a Novice Pistoleer. I was flying through Pistols without thinking about it--and besides the fact that I can XP as fast as I can target--I was shooting for 400+ at Pistols II.

So... does it get better at Novice TKA? My DPS is sooo low that it's just agonizing. If it will get better at Novice then I could just tell my girlfriend to leave me alone till I make it and can use a weapon finally. I'm really having a hard time deciding between the two right now.

pistols has some appeal for me too, excepting that my holocron told me combat medic i understand your situation.

yes, it gets soooo much better at tk novice.

and as posted in a different thread, if you like seeing her hit for 400+, you oughtta check the view when you hit TKM.... you'll do 5x as much damage at least. also, you will never have to visit a med center again as you can heal all your own wounds really fast (super super nice), cure your own poison, disease, bleeding... etc. Pistoleers do have a SWEET AoE attack that we don't even come close to...

anyway, tkm is an extraordinary pve prof. extraordinary. definitely worth doing. plus, then you can wear those sunguards like the rest of us... lol.... oh yeah, and the condition of your fists is always 1000/1000.

Yeah, bunch of TKMs on server told me to hang in there till Novice before giving up. So I'm grinding still. *ugh*

One of them told me to buy a speed sliced VK (even at Unarmed stage) and use Berzerk. What do you think of that?

Yes, it speeds your attack speed up dramatically. If you can, get armor, buffs, and go hunt quenkers on dantooine. You will get lots of cash and loads of experience. Trust me, it's much better than just killing things outside of cities.

Heh, I'm a master doctor, buffs aren't a problem. I'm kinda low on cash right now so all I have for armor is a 48% kinetic chitin helmet, and an ubese shirt (since I take body hits the most, and wore it as a doctor). But I'm only at Unarmed II right now. Will I be able to take Quenkers? If so I'm in, but I just want to make sure that I'm not wasting my time travelling there.
