Anyone know what it is? I am at +250 from my profession, is there even a point in buying tapes for this? defs cap at 125 acc at 205 whats the damage cap?

Unarmed Damage does not cap. The only things that cap are:

Block, Dodge, Counter Attack & (in theory though there is no way to enhance it) Deffense Accuity, as well as Ranged Deffenses & Melee Deffensewhich all cap at +125. Also speed caps at +100.

However Unarmed Damage Tapes do not currently work. Have a read at The Teräs Käsi Information Thread for a repost of the information Ryutek passed on to us regarding these tapes.
