I'm grinding TK novice, right now I have 70k of the needed 125k xp. When I get mind buffs, I get like 1280 max. A lot of people have advised that I migrate stats, so I'm looking for ideas. I'm a human male brawler, I think my stats unbuffed are like 1200h, 800a, and 600m, but I'll log on and double check.

Oanin Easra, Gorath, CL90 NGE Jedi, noob all around.

Talenn Jace, Bria, CL90 respec Jedi, former TKA, Not so Noobish all around

Should I grind a new Jedi to 90 again since that's all there is to do SOE?

Yes I'm a respec and an NGE Jedi. Yes, I hate NGE. Yes I agree, pre-CU FTW!

Finally, I'm now a TK Novice, and it's awesome. I just got 30k xp in like 5 minutes, took out a whole quenkers lair with spin 1, this is awesome. I think I'll take a break from the grind now and just travel around a bit, see the site

Yes Area/Spin attacks make all grinds a lot easier . If you're fighting buffed I'd suggest:

H: 400/400/400
A: 400/400/400
M: 1100/800/1100

The low Focus is beacuse you can take Ahrisa to bring that up while the only thing you can really take for Willpower is high-fill, low duration Canape. If you want a bit of insurance when your buffs run out, move a couple of points from Willpower to Health and Action.

An alternate would be having your mind stats at 1k, but beacuse of the way Mind buffs work, it's nice to have as much in the pool as possible. This kind of set-up should work for you really until the CU/R/B.

Heres my recomendations. Both are designed so they are very viable unbuffed as well as buffed. I can also get most a set of light kinetic comp on unbuffed.

Health - 800 / 400 / 400

Action - 800 / 400 / 400

Mind - 1100 / 550 / 550

When you Powerboost you're stats become:

Health - 1350 / 400 / 400

Action - 1350 / 400 / 400

Mind - 1650 / 550 / 550

Alot of people suggest the 400 / 400 / 1100 but personly I would really recomend againest this. Like that you are very much forced to buff up at times also TH indicated in a Friday Feature a while back that it is a bug to be able to do them so low & that it will be fixed, most likly with the CU/R/B so learning to fight with higher base HAM while unbuffed is a good thing to learn.

& anyway - wheres the fun if you run around buffed all the time can't die?

Personly I'm not too firmiliar with Dosh stats - however I'd say aim for as close to what I suggested for human. Make sure you're primary Mind is as high as it can go though as this detirmines how much of a buff you get from Power Boost.

put all stats into your 3 mind pools, then focus the rest into your health and action... but live off buffs.

I have to say I really couldn't disagree more with that last statement. I know it's only opinion but I really can't see how there is fun of living in God Mode.

Unbuffed fighting is so much more intresting then buffed fighting, you never realise how fun it is to die untill you get you're arse kicked in to next week 4/5 times & then you go back to a similar spawn, learn from you're mistakes & survive.

Just my opinion though.

this works pretty well

400/400/400 h/s/c

400/400/400 a/s/q

800/1100/1100 m/f/w

for TKA its best to focus on the mind and let the buff do ur dirty work, most hunting trips u ll only need 2 shots of brandy and thats it no hassel of a mind buff.

Sorry to go off topic but yeah like Mankind said. Unbuffed fighting is really cool thing yo get into. I was unbuffed overt and saw another guy with armor on and a power hammer. He had no clue what he was doing. He wore his ham out himself with specials and I just kept hitting him with regular attacks while healing occasionaly. Dude went down in like 5 seconds.

Well being retarded and using buffs aren't exactly the same thing. It's useful to know how to fight unbuffed for long PvP deals (start, clone, die, fight, clone, die, etc.) but if you're grinding out TK, then there is no reason not to use buffs. It's easier, quicker, and in the end, cheaper (armor decay from cloning).

Be happy you are not a Rodain. All the Brandy and mind buffs in the world cannot help you.

I have to agree also, I have fought unbuffed thousands of times and it is way fun, and even more fun when you beat the buffed guys senseless, infact I have almost never pvp'd buffed besides brandy
