Thread: Solo a Krayt Dragon?

I am a Master Swords, TKM, 3240 Medic. Is there anyway I can solo a krayt dragon? I heard a TKM could. If I can please give me some tips on how I do it.

Get some good comp armor, highest % Kinetic you can bear. You will get Dizzy/KD a lot, so get those defenses as high as you can. (Giant Canyon Kraytswill dizzy/KD you all the time, and those seem to be the best for loot) Problem is...as a tank TKM is best, but can't really deal a lot of damage to an 80% heavy armor vs. our VKs. Swordsman is the best at dealing the damage with a medium ap.
I am Master Brawler/Master TK/Pikeman (still trying to master pike), the intimidate 2 REALLY helps a lot from Mbrawler. With buffs, I never needed healing...he hits for about 60-130 damage...so it's a waste using medic much. Full buffs (2300+ preferred) and both dancer/musician buffs needed. Iwould use 2 brandyalso for the most I could get, food wise...something against dizzy and KD would be a major benefit.
Other than that...spam your specials...get all the states you can on him..and prefer a DOT or two. Going solo...aim for just 1 stat instead of most damage. Mind seems like best for Swordsman.
Truthfully, if you have a jedi friend...tank the krayt with your tkm skillz, state effects and sheer toughness....taunt all the time, and let the jedi do all the damage. Me and Sky killed one easily...no problem. My client crashed though...right at the end

Soloing a 400K HAM target is going to take a LONG time without a jedi...

It is certainly possible. Swordsman can kill anything in this game. Just be sure to keep an hour free and buy a new set of armor to get destroyed.
On an unrelated note, it shouldn't be possible. Ever.

I agree. Somethings not right when you can kill a krayt dragon by yourself. Hopefully the Combat Upgrade will make it necessary to have 5-6 people to take out a krayt, and have them battle it out for the loot.

well....I do have a small bet running that I can solo a krayt in less than 15 minutes
M. commando > all but jedi when it comes to taking down high level mobs

soloing stuff isnt worth it,
1. the chances of you getting outdamged are not in your favor
2. Its long and boring
3. Its quick and fun with friends.
4. Most of the people I know who go out and solo stuff are very greedy loot permiscuous people.
As a swordsman you can macro krayts , walk away and be fine, no I wont tell you the macro

its very easy for me i do it all the time, i am poison spice, mswords/mdoc/fs melee speed 4, i just hammer or chop away, with my 2 hand plus 13 total speed attachments for 100 2 hand speed total, i used to be tkm/mdoc, and i could do the same, it just took longer, but doc stim e heal my whole ham bar practically, long story short, your gonna need heals to do it, the krayts not going to rollover and die for you.
