Teras Kasi Archive

Im totally new in the brawler branch and im hoping to become a Teras Kasi Artist. After long pondering i decided this would be a cool profesion. Now im more concerned about how powerful a TKA is PvP. While i dont have to be the toughfest player out there i want my character to be able to get down and dirty when a raid to fort tusken is planned or when joinning a battle.

I guess my questions would be the following.

TKA v, a Ranged weapon expert, do we stand a chance (PvP)? I play a pistoleer in another server and it seemms t me like it is hard for a TkA to be able to get me. Of course if he does get a hold of me things are diferent but many times i do beat them.

What armor should I consider if any?

What combination with other profesions should i pick? It seems creature handler is the only good one so far from what Ive read. I was thinking tka/ranger/something else (is this a good idea). What would give my character an edge profesion wise.

I know that many of this questions have been discussed already but im relatively new at the brawler profesions and even newer at TKA, considering Im not even a novice yet. I would trully apreciate your comments.

However, that is only in 1 on 1 combat. In a large scale battle such as seen often in Theed or Bestine PVP, a TKA can really shine. Nothing like following a guy who shooting at someone else. The moment he stops for a moment, he's dead, simple as that.

With the changes in our power, I used unarmed hit 2, and 3 doses of it will kill any player. (Note, I use VK, sliced to 1.5 speed, and powered up to 1.2) This allows me to hit once per second with an attack that does around 1500 damage.

If someone begins to kite you, all you can do is either wield a ranged weapon, or hide in a building. (Even hiding doesn't work, sometimes people seem to be able to shoot through walls.
