Thread: Suggestions needed for Stats Migration
I did a search through the forums on this one, and didn't seem to bring up any results. While I suspect this has been covered in discussions before, I still would like a quick and easy answer...
I'm playing a Twi'lek TK Student, and I've been playing with the Stat Migration feature to try to figure out what the optimal way to distribute my stats would be. Obviously, health and action are key. But Mind shouldn't be neglected either, especially for when I'm PVEing solo, and I need to use Stims on myself (Novice Medic).
What would you recommend? Please advise and thanks for any expertise you can provide.

This has been working great for me! While at the lower levels (before I started wearing composite armor) I would take some serious hits, but with some good stims I was more than able to compensate. The ONLY non-healable stat in the game; so, in my opinion, you really have to ensure that you have enough of it. I've seen the "high health and high action" brawler types get incapped with a single blow to the head on some of the tougher planets... so I strongly suggest balaced stats with maybe a little extra moved to mind especially if you are going to invest in medic skills. A few good 500pt heals are kind of like adding 1500-2000 health and action to your pool-- mind is a terrible thing to waste (or skimp on)

I am a lizard so this may or may not help.
I started at 1000, 1000, 550 and maxed out the health and action sub stats until I got first Aid II.
Then I migrated them to 900, 1000, 750 and minimized the health and action sub stats and maxed willpower and focus with the emphasis on willpower for mind regen.
After they reduced the action costs (last patch i think) I reduced my action to 900 and increased mind to 800 and added the extra 50pts to willpower.
I use stim-B alot and they now do twice the healing with FirstAid III. I do use Muon Gold when fighting big mobs as I need the healing much more. Am also working on the medic diag tree to increase teh healing speed.
Leave the pharm tree alone (at least until first aid and diag are maxed)as you can find stim-b's around 370+. Stim-c that I ahve found are not that much better to warrant all the skill pts.
just my 2 cents
I got as human something like:
900 400 400 900 400 400 900 500 700 give or take 50 points somewhere *smiles*
The reason for it is that im using some basic medic skills and lvl IV first aid to heal myselfs with stim packs. that negates the need for a high regeneration of those stats. The mind i sent for max regeneration and some points into reducing the use cost.
Usualy i find that i can either heal myself and fight and survive or if i cant heal myself fast enough then it would not matter having other bigger stats in health/action.
I think that the 'obvious' isn't all that good. As a human, I have maxed mind stats (1100, 600, 600), 800 health, 700 action, and 400 on the other stats. Then again I usually play with a dedicated healer, so the only stat that I worry about running out of is Mind. If you can get some nice doctor buffs, you don't even need to worry about healing in the field. It really comes down to the one stat that cannot be healed.
I did at least 1.2 million unarmed xp with this stat layout, and I don't have any inclination to change it now that I am a master.
Please don't forget that you can also buff your mind pool as well as your focus and will! Watch a master dancer for 5-15 minutes (must use watch from the radial menu) and then stop watching (from the radial menu as well) and you can be buffed up to 500 mind for 2 minutes for every minute you watch. Do the same with a musician and you can raise your will and focus by 250+ points. The skillthat the Novice+ dancer/musician has in the techniques tree (the one that lets them do the flashy lights) determines the potency. Just thought that this might be usefull to some of you ![]()
i was also considering pickingup some armor to see how that helps since the recent changes...
