Teras Kasi Archive

Hello all. I'm a hopeful-Teras Kasi Artist in the making on the Shadowfire server. I'm looking for a couple of pointers into my situation which are as follows:

1.) I have level 3 unarmed, looking to close the immense gap to level 4 unarmed and then into Novice Teras Kasi. Where should I be hunting in order to gain experience now, and in the future?

2.) I have a full set of chitin armor, which as always is encumbering. I also have a Vibro Knuckler ( I know that I cannot use it yet, but it brings my speed up in attacks drastically - and the damage is nearly the same. ) Should I be using my Chitin armor and Vibro Knucklers? Or perhaps my regular clothe and my VK's?

3.) Whats the best way for a Teras-Kasi hopeful to make money? Destroymissions for either Faction end up in Kiting NPC's (annoying.)

Note: I also have very minor medic skills (working them up as well) which may change the advice you give. Not to mention I also have level 2 pistol skill and level 2 ranged support (working to level 4 ranged support for the posture down attack - good against kiting wussies.)

Help?

1) When I was at your skill, I just ran destroy mission after destroy mission, but this can get very boring. What planet are you on? On naboo, you can get a medic friend or any friend and hit up the Veermok Cave or gather a larger group and hit up the narglatch cave, what I would do till I could handle dathomir is clear veermok cave, run 2 destroy missions, run to narglatch cave , join group. By the time you have run by the narglatch cave, you can head back to veermok cave and it should be respawned or respawning.

2) The armor shouldn't effect you too much because you arent' doing many special moves at unarmed 3. If you want to know if the VK or unarmed is more damaging, take two mobs, kill one without VK's and the other with and see which dies faster

3) Right now I make all of my money off of destroy missions, other ways to make money are selling resources or selling stuff. (I used to sell stims for awhile)

Destroy missions over and over can be very boring, so don't burn yourself out, have fun and work on unarmed in a fun manner, with friends and in exciting places.

Ive posted on a similar subject like this before but here we go again.

Im a TK Novice and i just spanned the gap between unarmed 4 and tk novice. What i did was sit at the rebel base on rori and just rebel missions all day.

Set aside 2 DAYS and just grind these missions. You can make 60-65k in a day of grinding not to mention you will have made killer cash and FPs.

Yes this is tiresome but its the only way i found to make it over this gap without giving up. GRIND GRIND GRIND. Once you hit TK novice everything is soooo much easier.

I now solo Tortons and such gaining 2500 exp and 200 combat a kill and do each kill in about a minute flat.
