Overall I am content with most the TKM skills and abilities, but the Force of Will Timer Blows. Once an hour?

It's brutal on the stats to use it, which is fine considering you can get ourself out of an incap to fight or try to save yourself, but why limit us to just once an hour.

I think this skill should be able to called at any time as often as needed.

I have the same gripe with the trandosian /regen taking an hour as well. I understand that there should be a timer when using regen, but an hour is pretty extreme; esp. considering the Trandosian is breed for fighting. One would think the trandosian's could "catch their breathe" a little faster than an hour's time.

I wholeheartedly agree with both observations. For me, a skill on anhour long timerremains unused, unless it enabled me to kill Krayts in a single blow. For an hour long timer, FoW should let us kill a single mob with our minds (i.e., no fists) and regenerate should let us grow 4 extra arms and do 3x our normal damage. Sadly, neither FoW or Regenerate do this.

LOL what are you talking about 1hour is not that extreme. it would be too good of a skill if it was whenever you want to. if you say that then zabrak should be able to do vitalize and equilibrium whenever they want

Regen is a Trandoshan species benefit. It was the main reason I picked a Trandoshan for my TKM, but that was back when I thought regen worked like it did in EQ and was just naturally higher regen rate than other races. However, it can only be used once an hour, and only regens your health bar, which for me rarely if ever goes down anyways. We are screwed over where we cannot wear boots or gloves, though not as bad as the wooks who can't wear any armor at all. Wookies SHOULD have the overbearing strength that those arm pulling walking carpets are known for, and the trandoshan LIZARDS should just have a 24/7 enhanced regen on their health and action bars. Humans get to wear EVERYTHING as well as having no penalties in the GCW no matter which side they fight for. Those of us who choose to be non humans should have some species related enhancements and detractions aside from the "well, tall fuzzies get to have this bar be bigger, and fishes get to have this other bar be bigger, and the tail heads can have this other bar be bigger" and so on and so forth.

Wamphyrri says:
I have been knocked down by someone with a pistol and then they proceeded to blast the beejeebeez out of me... I didn't scream "Oh that is sooooooo dishonorable. Why don't you fight with some honor you dishonorable fighter?

Knock me down and shoot me when I can't fight back?!?!?? Honor you lack!!! Dishonorable one!!!!

What?!?!? I can't believe that you trying to kill me without getting killed first?!?!?!?? I hit you once then you get to hit me...THAT is true honor that will rank you up there with the (dead) honorable.. mentions?

What's the deal cimianx?

Do you really think my suggestions puts the favor in teras kasi hands that much?

Let's use some simple common sense here:

You are fighting and you go incap, to FOW, it requires a pretty good amount of stats to pull it off. Then if you do, your body is already a pretty low state from going incap and then FOW yourself out of it. Common sense dictates that TK players won't be using this skill like mad because it's to heavy on the stats.

Lets have common sense scenario 2 cimianx:

I am not claiming to have master all professions by any means, but the others which I have mastered, I don't remember any of them having a 1 hour delay on any skill. I don't think changing the down time from an hour to something a little smaller is being unrealistic or unbalancing the game.

How you interpreted that into soloing a Krayt dragon, growing 4 extra arms, and doing 3x extra damage is beyond me? Literacy is a dangerous thing.

I agree. Trandosian regen should be a 24/7 thing (like EQ), and Wookies should have much higher strength than everyone else. By strength I don't mean the stat, I mean that Wookies should be doing like 1.5-2X damage melee than everyone else.

I'm not sure about /regen since I'm not a Trandoshan, but Force of Will has gotten the crap beaten out of it. An hour timer when it can wound us, add battle fatigue, and outright not work? That's harsh, especially considering we get up with our stats lowered and westill have to face whatever mob got us in the first place. I'd say remove the timer if it's gonna be this crappy; however, the timer would be more than reasonable if Force of Will worked 100% of the time with no side effects. Because, seriously, what's the point in using a move that kills you if you can only kill yourself once an hour?

you guys are pretty sad.

you are complaining about a skill that gets you out of a deathblow. god forbid there is a small risk for side effects. i have used fow countless times since the patch (i tend to get myself in bad situations alot more fun that way!) and only 1 time gotton the 100 wounds/bf and 1 time gotton the 200 point reduction and bf, and twice i was lost in unconsciousness. it does NOT lower your stats every time! would you rather it was like it was the old way? where you could use it infinite times and in the 1 in 3 times that it worked you would have all of your ham drop to 1?

i do agree though, that being slain should reset all timers

some of you TK's out there really irritate me. always complaining about how gimped this class is when it is the single most powerful melee class there is, when we arguably have more useful skills than any other combat class period. you are the ones that have given us the bad reputation. you are the ones that have people calling us ''the bounty hunters of melee''. be grateful for what you have, and remember that there are 33 other classes that don't have anything even remotely as useful as this.

it's one thing to want bugs fixed. it's one thing to want illogical implementations corrected. but throwing a tantum every time a skill is changed and whining that it's the suckiest suck to ever suck just makes me sick. grow up
