It works fairly well... being able to buff yourself at will means shorter downtime waiting for buffs. It also means you can wear some nice high resistance armor for PvP like Adv Composite. I also use some really powerful StimDs for self-healing, since little StimBs aren't too effective when your HAMs are 3000+.

It's is hands down the best TK combo for PvP.
Hows that?
The above poster hits all the high points.
Being able to do what I did yesterday which was: have a rancor pet on my ass, have 897 points of Flame Thrower wounds, lose 5k worth of HAM and still not die thanks to a combination of buffs and great heals is pretty hard to beat. It's also pretty great to wear full composite armor and still have over 1k in secondary stats.
Hard to beat that combo. At least till the nerf comes...

EDIT- I did not have 5K worth of ham - I had 2,400 Heath and I was taking huge health hits from the commando, but then just healing back up. That's what I meant - the total damange I took yesterday would have been well over 5k.

Imperials hate me on Bloodfin...thats all I'll say.
TKM/Master Doc is the single most self-sufficientcombo in the game.

How does a TKM / Doc fare in PvP? Do the buffs allow you time to get to the person while they're spamming things on you? I've been going for TKM/pistoleer/smuggler but I *hate* how boring pistols are. I was at 0432 in Doctor when I quit to go for this PvP template, but now I'm tempted to go back. Input please.
