Hmm...
You do realize that stimpacks and woundpacks B have the same med use requirements as As so you can buy Master Doc packs and heal yourself. That's what other professions do.
In any case, relying on other people isn't a bad idea. I think the devs want to increase interdependence.

I already have a template planned that will allow me to treat wounds fiarly well, all that's really required is medicine use mods.
Medic 0 0 4 0 allows for a lot of skill points to be alloted to combat, currently i think mine is set at medic 0 0 4 2, so i can make some of my own med packs.

The developers definitely had interdependance with other professions in mind when the developed the game. If anyone is a crafter, they would know that they cannot make all the parts required themselves, DE's need parts from artisans and architects and vice versa. Need armor fixed (effectively)? You need to see an Armorsmith, likewise with healing if not doc yourself.
I can imagine that Star Wars galaxies would suck if you could do it all yourself, imagine thousands of players all in their own little bubbles playing away...(pops the thought bubble before it grows any bigger)

without wound treatment with tka its not very pleasent cause then u always rely on other people to heal your wounds unless you are a combat medic, medic(higher skilled) or doctor. so what canyou do if you are bounty hunter... get stimpack A's cause most of your skill points are taken as you are master so its very dificult to get a good position in medic?
