I stopped playing SWG around the time "holocrons" were added to the game (for obvious reasons hehe). I recently reactivated my account to give SWG another try. I have a few questions about currentPvP since I missed so many patches.

1: Are Combat Medics still doing 100% dmg in pvp with mind poisons ect...?This was one of the reasons I stopped playing, it made absolutely no sense that a CM could do 100% dmg in pvp while the rest of us were doing 25% (especially to an unhealable pool).

2: Are commandos still able to "black bar" people withtheir flamethrower attacks in literal seconds? Please tell me the devs toned their"wound" dmgdown some in pvp hehe.

3:Is the "revenge tef" still an issue?

4: Is dizzy + Kd still keeping people pinned on their backs for long periods of time? I thought it was kind of lame how this tactic kept people out of the fight for so long.

5: Was anything ever done to help balance accuracy between pistol and rifle? When I last played, rifleman had less accuracy then a pistol user at "max" range, while rifleman suffered lots of penalties at melee range ect...

6: Did they do anything to make it easier for melee proffessions to hit people who kite?

7: Are pc Jedis actually killable by normal proffessions in a 1 on 1 fight? Or does it take a full group to defeat one? I have yet to see a Jedi in action so that is why I ask.

Any info would be appreciated.

- Yes, combat medics are still the walking gods of PvP. People still regularly bow down and kiss their feet as they zerg out of the cloner and wreak their customary havoc.

2: Are commandos still able to "black bar" people withtheir flamethrower attacks in literal seconds? Please tell me the devs toned their"wound" dmgdown some in pvp hehe.

- I remember when this would actually happen...good times. Commandos regularly do less than 200 damage per tick with their flame specials, and they can't apply more than one at a time.

3:Is the "revenge tef" still an issue?

- I believe not. Right now the "in" thing is group TEFing.

4: Is dizzy + Kd still keeping people pinned on their backs for long periods of time? I thought it was kind of lame how this tactic kept people out of the fight for so long.

- It's still getting people, but armor is keeping them alive long enough for them to get up, and a lot of them have wised up and purchased food with resistance to knockdown and dizzy.

5: Was anything ever done to help balance accuracy between pistol and rifle? When I last played, rifleman had less accuracy then a pistol user at "max" range, while rifleman suffered lots of penalties at melee range ect...

- Riflemen must be the combat medics' favorite brothers or something, because the devs love them both. Riflemen have the best accuracy of any profession except Teras Kasi now, and the Jawa Ion Rifle punches right through most armor. They also lost the melee penalties.

6: Did they do anything to make it easier for melee proffessions to hit people who kite?

- Nope. The best we can hope for is stupid ranged opponents.

7: Are pc Jedis actually killable by normal proffessions in a 1 on 1 fight? Or does it take a full group to defeat one? I have yet to see a Jedi in action so that is why I ask.

- The way things are right now, player Jedi are the ultimate tanks, especially against ranged professions. However, their lightsabers deal only kinetic damage, so they have a hard time taking down anyone in armor. The publish scheduled to go live Tuesday makes Jedi into absolute death machines against anyone but melee professions. We'll see how it turns out.

Any info would be appreciated.

- My pleasure, but this is probably not the appropriate forum. You may want to post stuff like this in the Game Guides forum next time.
