Hello. This will be my only combat profession soon. So I have a few questions that hav eprobably been asked before.
I'm planning on using the Template:
Master Artisan
Master Architect
Teras Kasi Master
I know it is a decent template for PvE and maybe I can hack down a few in PvP but...
Is it possible to get Unarmed IV in a day (Too II-III in Eisley) and then the 120k or what ever for TKA
At the start, what should I grind on TK to be able to solo in Dant. Meditate maybe? I dont know
Can I probably solo the higher end missions as TK, Novice and Mastered?
The only use for TKA is to solo in Dant while my harvesters are running and I am out of Materials (I'm grinding through Architect as quick as I can, no sparing resources if I can make that item for good exp
) So I am only using it to use missions, and when Crafting gets boring I wont surrender. Just let harvesters pick up a ton before crafting again and then an escape to Dant or another place for Solo-Groups for credits. Any feedback would be APPRECIATED!!!

In a day? maybe, if your powergrind like heck
going from UA4 to TKnovice will take atleast all of 1 day.
Go up your power line first, that will make you do more damage, and do it faster. Then do Balance, as it gives defenses. Once you have both of those, and are at about level 3 on the precision tree, you can get meditation within a day.

-TKM alone does not act as a "decent" template in comparison to pure combat templates. You must remember TKM alone will not match the damage output of quite a few other professions.
- TKM is hard to play in PvP due to Synthsteak, 80 % + Kinetic resist Composite, and PSG's would cut damage by 80%, by 44% again, + PSG resists.
- TKM can solo higher end things on Dant with ease. Only force wielders may give you trouble due to high resists, and somethings such as Krayts, NS's, SMC's cause major problems with TKM due to high resists as well.
- It should be noted: The unarmed grind is awful. Not as bad as investigation, but it will take at least a couple days of full grinding. Unarmed 1 - 3 can be done outside the town, Unarmed 4 will take about a day, perhaps less by hunting Lesser Plain Bols on Dantooine. TKN, the same, but takes even longer.
- After that its all downhill. Do quenkers on Dantooine to max out the Power Technique tree, then do Balance Conditioning, then do Meditation. Precision will come with the rest, due to the fact its combat XP.

i woulld suggest getting some nice ubese armor (comp if you prefer it ) , buy a 1.6 speed or faster (faster means a lower attack speed) , and some brandy and canape (use canape only when starting with spinattack)then get a nice set of buffs , maybe novice medic just so u can use stim B alltho not sure u need novice medic for it so dont flameme if i am wrong on those packs , then head to dant , MO stay solo dont group yet , and go kill some quenkers , use only berserk on a loop marco , kill 1 quenker and u have unarmed 1 , kill 2 and ull have unarmed 2 , and then just go easy ,
as soon as u got unarmed4 , group with a not to big solo group and change ur marco from berserk to unarmedspinattack1 , and target the lair , and ull have tka novice in 1 buff session ,
marco's are (if you put them in F12) :
/berserk1;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
and
/unarmedspinattack1;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
just drag them to F11 to stop the marco i think this is the easyest way , if u got the cash i would suggest u visit an ID for stats first ,

Feedback already. Wow!
I am going to do Unarmed I-II outside of town no matter what. I'll try and do III but then ARRGG!
For Unarmed IV my friend does dant trips and asks if I want to go. I'll get Unarmed IV there, I got Carbine IV and Pistol IV there so why not Unarmed IV.
Maybe when I hit IV I can ask him to duo with me on Dant for like a day and get it there.
Thank you for the help!

If you can afford buffs, don't bother with novice medic. You will probably never need it as long as buffs are the way they are (except the high level mobs) Once you become master, you can make money pretty fast by doing Janta missions.
Buffs + 70% or better Ubese, and you are golden. Also, Dire Cats on Correllia are great for getting unarmed 4. With buffs and armor, they aren't a problem at all, just berserk and kill them one at a time until you get unarmed 4.
Realisticly, it will probably take you a few days of hardcore grinding to get TKM, unless you are somebody that can play 16 hours a day.

I can play 16hours a day if I wanted too. Just hard getting my friend to hunt that long with me. Lol

With buffs and armor you won't need any help as long as you stick with the lower quenkers and just about any hurtons. I'd stay away from the NPCs until you get most of the tree taken care of. Hurton lairs are better exp anyway, if you want to master fairly fast.

since you are only looking at needing TKM to protect yourself on harvester runs you should do quite well. Our damage output is very good and defenses are ok, but with armor on you can safely go places without fearing total death (unless a DJM is parked on top of your harvester...Id just save that one for tomorrow)
for unarmed 3 and 4 Equip a pair of speed sliced VKs it will say youarent certified, but use them anyway, your damage output will be the same, but your speed will increase dramatically. 1.6-1.8 is pretty good for normal speed sliced VKs
Lower level quenkers and Huurtons are great hunting and once you get spin attack it will be an even easier grind.
Good luck and welcome to the fun club

It's really hard to get Unarmed IV... I just got buffs and ran quenker missions until I got TKN, then smashed a couple or more and went up the speed/damage line, once I was 0/0/3/1 I joined a solo group did mokks and jantas and next thing ya know I was TKM in 5 days (yay for me)... and I can second that about being hard to PvP with all the high kinetic resist armor... but look on the bright side, you can give a Jedi a run for his money reaaaaally easy lol. Just pray for some new knuckles with different damage type for all those dudes in high kinetic resistant armor
I also recommend buying a good set of ubese, its awesome for grinding and will make every thing easy on dant... Like I said I was pounding Janta shaman camps at only TKA 0/0/3/1... this is mainly because of the good ol' 75% ubese that you can pick up for about 150k or so(on my server)

I'm looking for TKA for more than harvester runs. I am looking to do Dant Missions (small and big paying ones) to help pay for the maint and help me with more things than maint.

I did unarmed 1 through teras kasi novice yesterday in about 7 hours. I did unarmed 1-3 on the beach outside Coronet killing thugs (got some ok loot). Then buffed and amored and went to Dantooine. I had levelled rifleman here the week prior and figured why not. At first I tried quenkers but they took way too long so I joined a solo group and did lesser plains bols misions. They are great due to the fact they are not social. In the solo group each lair produced from 15 to 18 bols. At 380 xp a piece it adds up. AlsoI did the berserk macro mentioned above, no specials. I did not have a speed sliced vk though and I believe that my time grindingwould have been greatly decreased if I had. There is a brawler trainer in a nearby player city which came in handy. At unarmed 4 the unarmedspinattack1 made getting tkn a breeze. I only had to do 3.5 quenker missions spamming unarmedspinattack1 (macroed) at the lair. each mission took about 20 minutes but there were 18 or so spawns at 3800 xp each. Needless to say I got tkn in just under 2 hours. Funny thing, asI was doing the quenker missions I had time to make dinner and eat since each mission was macroed and took awhile
Now I have to decide on which tree to do first, someone told me meditate but I am unsure which.

I am in the process of building a TKM/Ranger. I have at my current level with him, no trouble at all killing Jantas and Mooks<sp>. Currently that toon is TKA 1/4/4/3 if that helps any. So you should have no trouble at all financing yourself on Dantooine with a TKM.
BTW as several others have said I went up the Power branch first then Balance and finally Meditate. Presision Striking works on Combat XP so you get it when you get it.
