Thread: New Teras Kasi Person, Any good guides out there? What to train on?

Hi there, well, I would like to know if there is any good teras kasi guides out there. Not a FAQ, although they can work. Also, as I am only halfway to unarmed II, what would be the best NPCs to train on? I would like to hear all of your opinions on this subject 
Also, I have a 31-136 dmg 2.1 speed VK at the moment, I was wondering what would constitute a good VK, and should I get one for dmg or speed at the level I am at? I got the 2.1 second one because it is faster then using my fists and going slower. Also, are there VKs that do different types of dmg? Like kinetic, stun, acid, whatever.

1st, no there arent other damage types, TKA is a wild, untamed, kinetic tornado. I have my TK on Valcyn and she currently uses 2.2 Speed with 147 max damage and with 35/(forgot)/35 ham cost (ham cost is a big issue when you get your speed). What your shooting for is nothing slower than a 2.2 speed and 147 damage if you want the best you can buy without some special addons or slicing- that should be anywhere from 2.5k-6k depending on dealer. I took the long root to becoming TK and ground Lvl 2 unarmed and up on Imp missions- slow? Yes. But in the end I was a Sergeant with an ATST, a Forward outpost, and all other types of faction goodies. If its speed you want then you might want to try getting some buffs and 40% base or better armor and taking on the Drall Caves on Corellia then hunting corsecs. I have seen countless unarmed fighters try fort tusken- about 70% either end up dead or come close to it. If you dont want buffs and cant afford armor then get medic with some good stim Bs and some cheap Vasarian Brandy and take on Rock and Mound Mites around Tatooinian cities. Its boring with no loot but its easily accessible and may be one of the faster ways to finish fighting enemies on par.
Once you make TK novice your ready to get buffed and head to Fort Tusken. Take on nothing bigger than a sniper and run like mad from anything else. 1st off get a bar off power tech for speed, strength and dizzy, then go for your 1st knock down. After you make */1/2/* TK your pretty much gonna take on anything up at tusken 14k ham and under if you know how to fight. Be sure to do the rest of power tech before anything else after you get your knock down though.
