Thread: Anybody else been Nym motor hunting since the loot adjustment?

As most everyone knows, the loot drops where increased on NPCs. I went motor hunting the other night, and ended up looting much more junk from nyms than I had before, including:
3 +20 damage motors
5 +20 feed mechanisms
1 Yellow Gaffi stick (had some + skill modifiers on it, slightly lower than normal damage)
1 blue crystal
1 yellow crystal
Tons of loot kit parts, including 1 adhesive.
I finally had to stop because my inventory and backpack were full...
All of this within about an hour and a half, and part of that was spent killing an Enraged Kimogila that spawned near one of my Nym camps. So my advice to all of you that haven't been out motor hunting lately: Go to Lok and start mass slaughtering those Nym guys.

yeah, I killed a few dozen of his men and got 2 stets of wound motors, I figured it was just better luck than usual but I guese not

Vibro motors can be looted off of Nym's pirates and droidekas on the planet of Lok. A vibro motor can be used in the building of a vibroknuckler to enhance it in some way.
One type of motor increases the maximum damage (this is the most popular). Another increases the speed, and the third type raises the wound %.

Guys ive been olny huntin nyms at the nym stronhgolg but there just lime 10 npc there not much loot,i didnt get nuthin at all where exact cn i get em then? some wps please

Is there some Kind of mission for Nym's people?
And if so...how many do I need in the making of a VK?

were the loot tables recently adjusted? I know people who have killed thousands of Nym's guys and gotten nothing, or the occasional +5 wound motor, but nothing really special...

My advice: Get into a solo group like you would for doing Janta/Mokk missions, then go to Lok. Get the two highest paying Nym missions that you can in the same direction, then head out. Kill all of the guys at one camp, then go to the next camp. Don't touch the "Lair" unil the third time around. This way you get 5 nyms per base, and higher chance of loot.
To Travon: Yes, read my post again, it clearly states that NPCs drop more loot now. This was probably adjusted forsomething to do with the sith, but now ALL npcs drop more.

Yes, i can confirm that. I looted nearly a dozen motors (and other stuff)in about an hour
