I just got owned by one Mokk Soothsayer on Dantoine. How can this be? Only tiem I beet one lately is when I used my pistol and smuggler skills to bleed him, tka for a shor time, feign death, lay there for like 10 minutes while he bleed and my ham recovered, then get up and finish him. How is this a TKA MAster?
Heh. I posted this in a "continuity problems" thread on the discussion forum today. Teras Kasi are not feared by the Jedi, they are training dummies for Dantooine cavemen with sticks.
Don't bring fists and to a stick fight?
Personally before I was a TKM, I have been able to solo a Soothsayer since the 'nerf'
Now that I'm TKM, it's pretty easy.
But let me start by saying, the only thing i actually use from the TKA tree since the 'nerf' patch is meditate, and of course the normal speed and attacks of the class w/o the use of any specials from the TKA tree.
Before starting on the path of TKA, iattained Master Brawler. It truly makes all the difference in soloing any mob, especially humanoids. The MB path has a nice array of specials and mods given for attaining it. I have watched many a TKA (not sure of their depth in the field) die to the mokks on my server. my only suggestion, is to master more than just TKA if you plan on soloing bigger game, (Mokks are tuff, but they are no Dark Jedi nor Krayt Dragon)
Iwill NOTgo into how it is done, and would greatly appreciate anyone else knowingthe variety of waysit is done to allow others to learn for themselves. The element of surprise in PvP is what is needed for us to win, if we give out our secrets, we lose.
Nevertheless, a mokk Soothsayer is very defeatable, if strategically fought. if you plan on trying to take it on blow for blow with just TKA skills, you will die rather quickly, in the post-nerf game.
hope this helps,
Faitt
