I used to think the nerf that they did onTKA wasso gay.

Yes the ham is insane if you have Vibro Knucklers on some special moves,BUT if you take off your vibro knucklers and use knockdown 2 it's fine..The ham aint so bad.

I always duel people 1 on 1 take off vibro knucklers when using knockdown 2 (I do not use my vibro knucklers anymore using knockdown 2 because of ham)that's basically the only difference..You were able to use vibro knucklers fine when using knockdown 2beforethe nerf... Now you cant unless u want huge ham cost

Personally I only use knockdown 2 to make my opponent sit on his ass for the remander of the duel... Without usingknucklers it gives me the same effect I want then when I did equip them (On their ass)... Even if it does less damage u will still beat ur opponent. It will take 5 seconds longer because you dont do as much damage...

I've come to realize the nerf aint as bad as u all think and try some of the stuff i'm saying it works well... This is coming from a tka master that reached tka master 2 months ago... Working with every stragedy.. Try knockdown without your vibro knucklers against your opponent.. If you get the first hit in you will win the match guarantee... All u need is for him to be on his ass and you win. Knockdown still ownz

I'm able to do most of my special taking vibro knucklers off like dizzy,stun,warcry,blind and then i put them on when not doing specials and put them on when using my finishing move unarmed 3... I have about 3 quaters of my health still left I use one heal from stimpack b and im at full health again.... The knockdown nerf aint too bad just against multiply enemies do you see the ham taking alot in...

Yeah, it's not bad until you consider that the others with KD don't have to take off their weapons to use KD... then it is not so nice...

How is this post relevant to the upcoming 30 second timer change. I think most people have by now begrudingly accepted the fact that the KD nerfs that are live now having really been the end of the world, even if frustrating -- but what do we do about the upcoming 30second timer?

Name me another class who'sknockdown move costs them 700 Ham with their weapon equipped.

Why should we HAVE to remove our weapon to use specials? Does any other class have to? No

They won't "sit on their ass" for the remainder of the duel if you don't get the dizzy in when you knockdown 2. It is the dizzy that stops them from getting up. So if it doesn't work, you either knockdown 2 again, or you dizzy and lunge. Either way that is another 200 Ham used up in specials. With the 30 second timer introduced you won't be able to do this.

All your situations relate to the fact that you are dueling. I.e. Starting combat when you and your opponent are ready andusually standing close to one another. Duels are pointless and a waste of time.

Try Pvp.

Your targets will be buffed and/or spiced. Meaning they will have upwards of 2k HAM.

They WILL run and kite/shoot you.

You will try to lunge and/or knockdown todamage them. If lunge and/or knockdown fails/misses/they get up again, they WILL keep running and shooting you.

You will either:

a) Have to chase them for 30 seconds whilst being shot at and taking damage and then try to re apply knockdown/lunge IF they are still in range.

b) Or, as many people have started to say on these boards, run away.

No one has issues with the Ham costs anymore. They should have been raised yes to avoid spamming, but raising our costs way over and above other classes is a joke.
