Last i heard meditatesuppose heal wounds (on med 4) and help regen hams.

Next time, please search out the other threads on this forum before starting a thread that has been answered over and over and over again.

Summation: Meditate isn't worth it until box 4. In the odd event that you get poisoned, or bled, it can help.

Meditate does NOT speed up your healing rate in any way, shape or form.

It heals wounds, bleeding/disease/poison at level 4 and Master.

Meditate rocks!

Power boost and Force of Will could use some work though.

meditate 4 is probably the most important ability for the TKA novice to attain TKM.

Without it you would have to (if solo) take up scouting for the camps just so you could sit and heal your wounds every 4th fight or so. meditate 4, completely alleviates this problem, whereas our wounds are healed in a matter of seconds, even mind wounds. you literally never have to clone again, for you just only need to meditate for 5 minutes or so to compltely restore yourself.

Not to mention the fact of never visiting a medical center again, ever.

Cantinas will always be needed, but they do have dancers, so it's all good.

Ach, no edit.

was saying,

Bottom line:

the time it takes a TKA to grind to TKM with meditate 4 is night and day compared to the TKA who waits to do meditate as his/her last part of their tree.

I agree with Faitt. Although Power Tech is prolly most important for up an coming TKs for damage and speed, MEDITATION IS MY ALTIME FAVORITE SKILL IN THE GAME. Period.

Med Centers? Whats that? I havnt been in one in almost two months.

Death blowed by mission mobs if things go poorly? With Force of Will I get a roughly 50% chance of standing up after incap, and the mob that was coming to DB me just walks away... I can med where I was Incapped because when you stand up you seem to be flagged as a non threat to whatever you were fightingmost of the time.

I have personaly been incapped by AT-ST on faction missions, used Force of Will to stand up, them meditated between the feet of the AT-ST that just incapped me. It doesnt always work, but usualy does for me.

Ever forget to clone? I do. More often then not it would seem. No problem. If i get all the wounds from dieing when I forget to clone, i just Meditate and in less than 2 minutes I am in perfect health aside from BF (which to my knowledge has no effect if you can maditate your own wounds away).

I can tell you one thing I'm sure of. If I change classes or decide to free up points from TKM I will keep Meditate 4 no matter what. And every character I ever play from here on out, unless its a medic, will have meditate 4.

I LOVE IT!

People keep repeating that Meditate IV heals wounds. Maybe they changed something because you don't needMeditate IV to heal wounds. At Teras Kasi Novice, I can heal my wounds by meditating.

Do you get the system message on screen whilst you are meditating at novice?

[meditation] Your Health wounds heal by 25 points

If this is the case, then I'd like a screenshot with your skill chart up and the system message saying you've healed the wounds.

Nagaram... Do you see the message "You heal your strength by 14" or something to that effect while meditating? Or are you just receiving the benefits from sitting in a camp or med center which naturally heal your wounds over time? I would venture to say that without the message you are not being healed by meditating. If however you ARE receiving that message then they have INDEED changed the way meditate works.

Please clear this up so we can stop giving and receiving misleading information. Thanks! =)

They're just confused by the wound healing that goes on in camps. Meditate 1,2, and 3 provide bleed, poison, and disease dot removal, in that order, and anyone that says otherwise is confused or lying (meditate is a godsend on endor btw, with all the disease happy monsters out there you HAVE to have it if you intend to fight things like the mantrigue screechers and borgle life sappers).

As a casual player, it will take a long time for me to get to meditate 4, it is too bad that meditate 1 doesnt have a heal ability, just with a slower modifier.
