finished TKM and the rest of my goals in developing my character. So i join the Rebellion.

This is my first day.

i go covert, for I have no guild, nor any rebel friends yet. Do a few missions.

gank imperial squad nails me as I'm fighting a stormtrooper (he's almost dead) they KD me from afar and light me up, then come and DB me, laughing. no biggie, though I'm wondering how if I'm covert.

Get back to Anchorhead, tell the rebels where they are. Proceed to go and help kill them, though i cannot, i find out, for some reason a covert brawler/TKA cannot attack what is attacking my alliance./shrug

(least i do not know how, though i tried every move i could)

Proceed to run around with the IMPS shouting their location. Kinda covert, right? lol

get tired of this, resign my allegience, for i found i can make more faction points and creds faster w/o it (and safely). get to 1k and i'm maxed. Re-join the rebellion, promotion, good to go.

Running around from a mission, one of the gank squad's gunman see me, he is alone and starts to fire upon me. this time, he's the fool. Did i mention i was a master brawler, master scout, defensive fencer and wayfarer? =)

i catch him, lunge2, dizzy, 4hits, and finish off with 2 mind shots. dead, DB for the Rebellion, of course. no use of VK.

get a /tell from their leader. 'What a **edit** way to fight, spamming KD'

i had to laugh. and pleasantly told him '..that i used only one lunge, no KD, and never used a VK. your man is just a wuss.' though i did note, that 'jumping a rebel with a gank squad while he is engaged with a mob is heroic?'

/cheer TKA! Lunge2 rox, if ya can get a dizzy off before they run again.

i leave base, somehow these IMPS (Evil Empire) know a way to make themselves appear as light blue dots on a radar instead of red. (/shrug..will figure that out) so they get a jump on me again, this time, they spam, and i mean SPAM the gunman KD, or BH, no way of tellin. i laugh, i die, i'm still laughing. though after a while of this, I'm sure i won't be.

Meditated after appearing, went out again, did a few missions. Again, i see a group of light blue dots, again, I'm KD spammed, i laugh, cause i cant figure out how they appear light blue. this time, they tell me that i'm '..about to suffer an endless incap, enjoy' I laugh again, for clearly, there are no TKA among them.

First 'Force of Will' fails, I get up, they shoot me and laugh, (did i mention they are camping me?). This time though, I succeed in 'Force of Will', and get up, comepletely empty in all bars, of course, and they shoot me, but more than one of them, so i die, lol.

Well, i finally found a good use for Force of Will, to stop anyone camping you.

I'm loving the PvP atm, but I'm sure the KD gun spamming will get old quick, and i'll end up going into hiding like all the other rebels on the server. i mean, seriously, how does a covert imperial release his ATST in Anchorhead with troopers, with no recourse, until he chooses to attack?

Rebels are seriously gimped, they don't even have a chat channel to my knowledge for any sort of guerilla tactics/strategy.

Could really use some good pointers from other TKA, and Rebels on how they establish any sort of successful fighting techniques.

The way it works is, they were Overt and you were not. You attacked the Imperial Base which gave you a TEF(Temporary Enemy Flag). That made you a target for any Overt Imperial. However, because you were Covert, you cannot attack Overt Imperials unless attacked first.

That's why they appear blue to you until they attack.

It does kind of work the other way though. Not entirely sure exactly how long a TEF lasts, but right after they killed you, you would be Covert again without a TEF, however, those who killed you, would have a TEF, so if you reached them in time they would appear Red to you but you would appear blue to them.

Think that's BS? Try being a covert imperial medic. Healing Imperials gives me a TEF and makes me a target for any overt rebel who happens to stroll by. Sitting there healing and then suddenly getting popped by a KD and then slain is a common occurance.

All a part of the most poorly-designed PvP system ever. In my opinion anyway...
