It is way too hard to get novice TK. I do barley an damage with outfighting unarmed andI think it takes alot longer to get novice TK than it does to get other novice Elite proffessions.I think one of two things need to happen: VK certification should be at Unarmed IV. Or unarmed fighting should do more damage.

Since neither of these things will prolly never happen, can anyone tell me if there is any fast way to get to novice TK? Also, I heard that you should use VK even b4 you are certified to use them so that you attack faster. Does this really happen and if so, do you do less damage than you would if you didn't use them?

They're still worth using as long as you have a fast set of VKs. You'll lose a little bit of damage (say 10 points per hit compared to purely unarmed) but if you've got some good VKs (I used 2.2 speed) you'll be hitting so fast it will more than compensate.

heh, i used some 2.2s and just got to novice as the servers came down (about 10 minutes previous but i couldnt find the freaking trainer until i lost connection!!) anywho....i sliced em down to 1.6 speed and put a 31% speed reduction powerup on mine, HAHAHAHAHAHA.......

if you want freaking sweet slices for low low prices, /tell dwain smith on gorath, he usually hangs around mos entha on tatooine, and loves to slice for people, and im almost up to armor now, i charge 500 a slice, and garantee to succeed. i have never gotten a slice below 19% and most are high mid 20s like 24%-28%, i think its cus of the high quality copper i use, cus my first time around slicer i used crap and i got crap slices like around 15% rarely hitting 20s, now i get mid 20s and i have only gotten ONE below 20 (19%) in the 70 something i have sliced, anywho, to end this long run-on sentence/signature, contact dwain smith on gorath for all your slicing needs.
