Ive spent 10 mill getting +25 in skill tapes...havent done any testing with em on....
Ive checked all the stickies, searched the forums and player sites
And it seems the community is divided
Can veteren tkm's with skill mods please give me their opinioins or evidence to if and how much they work

currently i think the consenses that has been reached is no... at least not in the numbers that we have had them tested in.

Even if they do work, you spent 10 million credits to do 25 more points of damage per hit.

it "should" work but the increase would hardly be noticed if it was less than 10 or so
ur tandard dmg mod is 250 so a plus 25 tap would only be 10% dmg increase

i'm going to have to go with Atama on this one... perhaps you should have checked to see if tapes work, and how well they work BEFORE spending 10 million credits.

Buying damage SEA's or getting a VK made with looted vibro motors is really the only possibility of increasing our damage. SEA's have the advantage of not breaking as fast as VK's. So i believe 10 million was well spent on extra damage, if in fact they worked. They dont. Sorry.

Official word is in the Useful info sticky. Irregardless, 10 million was way too much to pay for what would equate to a +25 point bonus in damage, at least in my opinion.

Wow. Not to flame, but you should have held offto check formore informationbefore dropping 10 mil on damage tapes. Then again, I'm talking from the standpoint of someone who has never had more than 2 mil in my bank account.

They work as far as I've tested, a rathereasy way to see is to not use a VK, you get around the same damage more often, go hit something with low resists, with the attachments on you, and without.

Wow You spent that much for that junk... Not good.. To answer your question.. yeah it works.. But its not worth the price... Only cause your clothing or armor Condition reduces over time.. Ouch
What will really bake your noodle is there is food that can be made to help increase your dmg..
I have food that does +21 ATM... working on trying to get the Chef to Increase his expiramention..
=>if you guys have any tapes or AA's let him know he might cut ya a deal for the stuff... maybe food hookup or $$$$
Tyranny on kuari server in ALTER LEGIO mall on naboo.. makes that stuff for me custom.. but im sure if he gets plenty of orders he'll stock up on his vendor..
I love that food cause ill be in the geo cave to grind my FS skill xp for jedi and ill eat that food and out dmg other players w/ a nice VK .. hehehe
So ill get more XP / kill vs the other people killing near me...
