Without a doubt we TKM's need a new damage type period. One possible idea is to meditate to charge up a one time hit per meditation cycle to do AP2 damage. This will keep blance and give the TK's something useful.

this would work fine in PvE.
Try it against an angry Master Combat Medic / Master Rifleman...though i do understand your point.
the LAST thing we need is more attention focused on our strenghts when we are finally one of the most balanced classes in the game.
we don't deal as much damage as swordsman, but we have better defense
we deal more damage than fencers, but we don't have as good of defense.
we speed cap without tapes or mods of any kind, but we only have one damage type.
we can heal ourselves of all dots, but are completely vulnerable to attack while we do it
i don't really want to see the devs messing with the profession too much. sure there is 80% resist armor out there making our jobs much tougher, but that is when you have to out-think your opponent, not out right out damage them.

In my eyes, it isn't us thats broken by only having kinetic damage. It's current armors and npc resists. There is NO way something can be 100% kinetic resistant. A ship crashes on your head, thats kinetic damage, so your telling me a Night Sister Elder can live through that without a scratch? Also composite is more powerful than it was meant to be. I'd like to see armor changed so not everyone is in composite, maybe make one thats medium rating but has lower defenses? Plus in pvp most people use stun, which is also more powerful than intended. Many people push for equality, I think each class should have its strengths and weaknesses. Our strength is our defense, speed and meditate. Our weakness is only having ap1 and only kinetic damage. I think if they put the black sun knuckles in, everyone will cry nerf for tkms, and I am it because right now I think it is the only profession working as intended (combat wise). Giving us ap2 for one hit isn't worth it.....especially tkm haters will just see that we have armor piercing 2 now, not that we have to do something tedious to get one hit on you with our attacks. TKM should be left as it is, and only armor resists should be changed.
