Ok... i blame my sources then... they said that the squills had been powered up so you'd have to burstrun from room to room if you didn't bring a group... thnx for the info..

I've played several ranged and melee professions. In my opinion, the melee professions tend to be more powerful than the ranged professions.
Overpowered? Only against the medium to low end MOBs. Anything with Medium Armor or better, and the TKA is about as good as anything else, and in many cases, suffers a big disadvantage.

I dunno... i heard a lot about the squill cave was really beefed up so yo should bring friends and stuff... i just wnt there as novice TKA with full comp and buffs and killed squills... i took 6-8 at a time and had no probs... and often it was the guardian ones... should that be possible? are the squills weak, or are we overpowered?

Any other melee profession can do the same; heck even rifle can with some good armor.

Teras Kasi isn't meant to be a profession with armor, and with armor + 80 kin base comp. armor, squills are like nunas..
However, this is true for any profession. A master dancer with 80 kin composite armor and full buffs can tank 6 squills for 1 hour.
Squills tend to not be that difficult.. at all.. I am a TKM and I just get buffed, no armor, I have no trouble taking them out..
TKA's are not overpowered at all, maybe the most underpowered melee profession.

About TK being overpowered- it's a situational thing. Often I can have higher DPS with one of my pistols, if the mob has high kinetic resists.

I think you misunderstood. The squills were not powered up. The spawn rate on the squills was increased, which makes the squill cave itself harder. The squills themselves are no harder than before, you're just more likely to face them in larger numbers. (This has the side-effect of making it a better place to grind now.)

Ohh... well... now they just need to raise the spawn rate everywhere else...

If they raised the spawn rate maybe people would spread out to all caves... instead of killing everything on server up, then no one can try it later....
